I received contact from Avis based on an internet search I recently made. Jason Grose is the internal sales manager who tried to help me find an Escape. On the day of delivery, he took away the incentive rebate he had found and applied it to the cost of the lease to pay for a mistake HE had made on the pricing of the car. We thought the car had a 2.0L engine and it only had a 1.5L engine. When I asked him if the car had a 2.0L engine on the morning of delivery, he assured me it did. When I asked him to email the sticker to me, he responded by saying he made a mistake. While he apologized for the error, he did not honor our deal. It was a modest difference that the dealer could have easily absorbed (would have been less than an employee discount). I wonder if he would have tried to deliver the 1.5L Escape if I had not asked him about it. I requested an immediate refund of my deposit. Two hours later, I am still waiting for the credit to my AMEX. Funny how it only took two minutes for them to charge the deposit. To top it all off, he has placed blame for his mistake on me! How any of this is my fault is beyond me and he has yet to explain it. I was really hoping I could trust this dealer as it is very conveniently located to my home and office. I will never go back there again. More

The vehicle itself was delivered in perfect, ready-to-drive condition, but mostly it was the people who impressed us. The salesman, Jeremy Zumbrunnen (JZ) was wonderful to work with, from the minute we wanted to place the order right up until final delivery walk-thru. Very impressed with his product & sales knowledge, as well as his efficiency. In addition, the business manager (Winston Howard) who handled our paperwork was incredibly knowledgable & thorough. Unlike at other "closings," we felt like Winston was on our side, rather than trying to push us into extra things we didn't want. So all in all, a very pleasant experience at Avis. More

WON"T BE BACK...not even for an oil change! Try Alpha Auto Services in Southfield...got us back up and running. More
I will never purchase a warranty again I purchased a 2008 F-150 with an extended warranty 100K mile. The vehicle began giving me acceleration and power issues at 93,000K miles. I turned the truck in 1 week before the warranty expired and was told that there were no issues found, but they did not perform a diagnostics test. 1 month later at less than 100k miles the engine went out and now they are saying it;s nothing they can do about it. I paid 8,000.00 Dollars for this warranty and when it came time to use it they circumvented me. I am now without a functioning vehicle and out of 8K in which would have at least purchased me a new engine. I'm more that disgusted!!!! Never again willl I buy a FORD Or from AVIS More

I received and offer I couldn't refuse on my trade and was able to take my new vehicle home the same day. I have never had a more positive dealership experience than I have with Avis Ford. So long Bill Brown I will never purchase/lease from another Ford dealer again. I have and will highly recommend this dealership to friends and colleauges. More

My worst nightmare So a few weeks ago I wrote a review regarding my truck. The title was donewithit. It has now been about a total of 5-6 weeks since I took my truck i So a few weeks ago I wrote a review regarding my truck. The title was donewithit. It has now been about a total of 5-6 weeks since I took my truck in for a check engine light repair. I paid for a new timing chain and many sensors that they claimed were bad. When I brought my truck home, not only did the engine not run correctly but my power steering went put completely. I took the truck back in the next morning only for them to call me and say the power steering would be $1600 to fix. It wasn't broken when I took it in. They have now fixed that problem after speaking with one of the owners sons and headquarters but still have not determined what is wrong with the engine. Remember the timing chain repair was over $3,000. The truck is only 3 years old with 64,000 miles!!! Here is where it really gets good..... The service department called me today to inform me that they got in a pretty bad accident with my truck this morning while test driving it! I am not kidding I couldn't make up such a horrible car repair experience. I had arrangements made to have my truck pulled from Avis Ford and taken to another dealership this morning. Guess I can't do that now! This has got to be the worst dealership ever..... I urge you to never take a car there for any type of repair. They are rude, dishonest and incompetent. I will be contacting a lawyer as well as the better business bureau. I am also stopping payment from all repairs as my truck is not even drivable anymore! If I could give zero stars I would. More
