One of the biggest worries when it comes to purchasing a higher end vehicle has to be the quality and cost of service and repairs. Their knowledge,extensive experience and willingness to listen is wortby of your respect. When I found the Mercedes that I wanted; I opted for a 3rd party 2nd appraisal. I brought it to Chuck, a service manager at Mercedes of Hannover. Their four hour evaluation brought up a number of things that needed to be addressed and a few "it would be nice if they would" items. When I returned to Avon Auto Brokers to share the news, the immediate response was, we'll get on it immediately (ALL of it) and have it ready in less than two days. AAB also offers a maintenance package that covers virtually everything that encourages you to have work done by a reputable MB dealer. Our sales assistant Alex did a phenomenal job of guiding us. We were greeted by a man who didn't identify himself and asked what we were looking for. He told us we would need to leave and go to another location "down the road" (that one is actually in a different city), then actually it was 2 other locations because they didn't know where the car was. I asked him for the address, but he didn't know one of them and wasn't clear on the second one. Then we asked if they couldn't just track it down instead of asking their potential customer to go to several locations at random without even an address - he kind of shrugged and then another salesperson asked which car we wanted. She tried to track it down for us as we waited uncomfortably 2 feet inside the door where we'd been stopped. No one said anything to us and it felt very awkward. It was a very sketchy feeling situation. Finally she went in the back and spoke to another woman, then told us that the car had been sold either that day or the day before. I said it was on the website and had just been updated an hour ago, and showed the posting as proof, and they said that they didn't maintain the website. They didn't offer another option and it was clear that any chance of a transaction was over. We drove 45 miles for absolutely nothing and it was a miserable experience. Bought a different car on the way home. Better luck next time! More
