Oil Change Necessity I am very fastidious about fulfilling oil changes according to the advised schedule from Ford. This time, however, we were traveling and were 1200 mil I am very fastidious about fulfilling oil changes according to the advised schedule from Ford. This time, however, we were traveling and were 1200 miles from home when the "oil change required" message flashed. I called Awesome Ford and the serviceman noted that there is a grace period and it would be okay to wait until we returned to have it serviced. When we returned, they were able to work me in on the same day I called, even though this service appointment was the 60, 000 mile mark which was more extensive than the regular oil change. As usual, the work was completed within reasonable time and I was given a complete summary of the work that was done. I appreciate the professionalism of the members at Awesome Ford and their ability to convey their appreciation for my business! More
