I came here to purchase a 2020 BMW 228xi Gran Coupe as a gift for my sister and had an absolute horrible experience. I came in with a trade in it was a 2014 Chrysler Town & Country with 117,051 miles and was in pristine mechanical shape. The only issue with the car was cosmetics which was a small rust patch on the rear quarter panel. Other than that the car did not need anything. Roy Bagdat and the GM Harout had the audacity to call the car "Junk" and not "Road Worthy" and only worth $500 dollars. I should've got up and left when they disrespected me with that offer and insulted my mom and I. Then Roy proceeded to tell me that he will give me more money for my car if I stay and offered to give me $3,000 for my trade in. Obviously no one will switch up like that without a catch and I did notice it because I'm not an idiot and saw that since they gave me more for my trade in, they snuck in a $5,000 warranty and $1000 Gap insurance. When I confronted Harout about it, instead of being professional about it he told me nothing is free in life. Again I should of left right there. We ended up negotiating a some-what fare price for my trade in and I ended up leaving with the BMW. Roy and Harout kept emphasizing that they only sell "good" cars and that the BMW does not need anything. After owning the car, I would find new surprises everyday that make the car un-drivable. The first being that it had warped rotors all around meaning I need new brakes. The second was that the tires are bald all-around. And the third being that the engine mount is collapsed and is visibly leaking. I tried contacting the dealership to ask them on how did a car like this pass their quality inspection and how could they have the heart to sell a car that is in need of many safety repairs. I wish I could go back in time and not step foot in this dealership because of the constant disrespect and the run around they gave me. I made a complaint to Chevy of North America. They had the nerve to ask me if I would pay $3,000 dollars for my trade in that needed nothing when they sold me a car worth $20,000 and needs $4,000 dollars worth of repairs. If you see this please go somewhere else!!! More

When I brought it back to the dealership, we sat there for six hours only to be told by the Service Manager that they don’t even service BMWs and that I should take it to BMW for repairs. They said they would “work with me on price” after the repairs were done. BMW diagnosed $10,000 worth of repairs. When I called Larry, the salesman at Axis who sold us the car, he suddenly said there was nothing they could do. Yet moments later he confidently told me to pick any car on the lot and they would “make it right” because they had fired their entire service team. Here’s their version of “making it right”: They offered to pay the $8K remaining on my loan (after I had already paid $12K down) and then expected me to take out another $20K loan for a different car. Absolutely ridiculous. I declined. Then Larry changed the offer and said they would give me $12K, but I would still need to take out a new $20K loan. Make that make sense. In the end, I kept the BMW and spent $3,500 in immediate repairs just to get it running properly. The real lesson here: never buy a used car that isn’t certified. Larry wasted hours of our time, and management watched us sit there all day. The manager finally approached us right before we left and seemed offended that my husband didn’t want to shake his hand. 🚨 SCAMMERS • CROOKS • LIARS • BAIT & SWITCH DEALERSHIP 🚨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Yes, 5 stars — because this level of deception deserves special recognition) We went to AXIS CHEVROLET in Jersey City, NJ to purchas 🚨 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Yes, 5 stars — because this level of deception deserves special recognition) We went to AXIS CHEVROLET in Jersey City, NJ to purchase a specific Mercedes-Benz GLS 450. From day one, this dealership showed exactly how crooked and dishonest they are. Our first visit was with a salesman named Tony, who was polite and professional. We were told no test drive allowed until numbers were agreed on. The vehicle’s windshield sticker showed $38,999, while they listed everywhere and claimed an MSRP of $24,999. After negotiating numbers, we asked for OTD. After piling on junk fees and add-ons we never asked for, they came back with an (OTD) out-the-door price around $36,000+. We clearly stated we wanted $28,200 OTD and would finance through them. GM Harun/Arun refused to move below $28,971.68, so we walked. Tony followed up the next day. We stayed firm. A week later (02/07/2026), we contacted Tony again and agreed to meet in the middle at $28,500, come in, test drive, and close the deal. Tony told us he informed GM Harun/Arun and that they were expecting us as he is out on delivery of vehicle. That’s when the circus started. We walked in, were handed off to another salesman (Larry), and immediately told the price was now $30,500 / $30,971, followed by the classic line: “You should’ve taken it last time.” When we mentioned Tony, this salesman looked us in the face and lied, saying Tony was FIRED. We had spoken to Tony 30 minutes earlier. As we got up to leave, GM Harun/Arun came out, stopped us, and admitted Tony was NOT fired and was simply out on a delivery. So yes — their own staff will lie and defame coworkers without hesitation. Harun/Arun then agreed to $28,500, told us to test drive the car, and said if we like it, we’d do paperwork and be done. During the test drive, the salesman again claimed Tony was fired and manager lied— another blatant lie. After the test drive, they: • Took all our personal and financial information • Filled credit details • Shook our hands • Said “Congratulations” Minutes later, surprise surprise. Arun/Harun walks out of his office shaking his hands and head and says: “I just spoke to the owner, and he put money into the car. He won’t sell below $31,500.” So let’s be clear: • Numbers were agreed • Deal was “approved” • Personal info was collected • Hands were shaken • THEN the price magically went up $3,000 This is classic bait-and-switch, unprofessional, and borderline fraudulent behavior. A GM (If he is legit one) who “doesn’t check with the owner” before approving deals? Please.
