Dropped car at 830am for oil change - and some required recall. Told it should be done mid afternoon. No loaner car available advised last shuttle pick up was 430. Started calling by 4pm since I hadn’t hea recall. Told it should be done mid afternoon. No loaner car available advised last shuttle pick up was 430. Started calling by 4pm since I hadn’t heard anything. Advised car should be done by 6pm. Service advisor did negotiate for the BMW porter to stay to pick me up. The driver was super nice guy and appreciated him doing that. BUT it should never take an entire day for an oil change and communication was lacking. Took multiple calls to even schedule service- first had Saturday but told they won’t handle recalls on Saturday. Not enough man power. I told them I would handle recall when I returned from road-trip they said no once car in their position they can’t legally let me leave dealer until it’s fixed. Huge inconveniences all around. More
