Drove two hours to see a BMW X5 that the dealership sent me a link to — only to be told when I arrived that it had already been sold. I had a very disappointing experience with BMW of Coconut Creek. I replied the next morning asking if it was available. A salesperson named Rhaissa responded, “The stunning Brooklyn Grey X5 is right here at our dealership, waiting to impress you!” and provided the dealership address. I let her know I would drive down that morning and that it would take me about two hours to get there. When I arrived, another representative Velma informed me that the vehicle had already been sold. Unfortunately, the interaction felt dismissive and unapologetic. After driving two hours to see the car, I asked if there were any other vehicles I could look at since I had made the trip. I was told that there was nothing else similar to what I was looking for, again with very little acknowledgement of their mistake. Driving hours to a dealership based on confirmation that a vehicle is there — only to find out it’s gone — is extremely frustrating, especially with all of the traffic on I-95 going south. I hope management takes steps to improve communication so other customers don’t have the same experience. More
