I saw a lot of cars online, I had just paid off an suv that I had had for around six years and I was ready and eager to get a new vehicle. Even that my previous vehicle was from a reputable company that I will just say was not BMW, I had still always wanted one and felt as if I had been kindof settling for what was practical and for what I could afford. I had just assumed that because my husband and I are just a middle class family that this type of cad would just be way out if our budget especially with a one year old son. Still, I always heard that a BMW was one of the safest, most reliable vehicles ever so before I completely disregarded the idea of getting one I wanted to make sure that it was indeed out of budget before I moved on to look at anything else. I called and talked to about 5 different people in about 5 different dealerships, let them know the budget, and whether or not there was anything within it available. All said no as I had expected so it didn't surprise me that much. Two of the dealerships also told me not to bother looking anymore because I am not going to get a car anywhere for the price range that I was looking for, even with the trade in of my previous vehicle. Just then while looking at other websites for another type of car, I got a phone call from Eric Eisenhart from Dave Walter BMW saying that he had a couple cars available that would be perfect for me and that I just had to come down to take a look. He had also taken pictures of the two and sent them to me on my phone so if I didn't like the ones that he had available I wouldn't waste a drive down to the dealership. I had told him thank you and that I appreciated it but I don't think that I will be getting my beloved BMW as I have already talked to quite a few dealerships and it is apparently out of my budget. He then asked what that budget was and after I told him said, "We can find you something I'm sure." He said that the two pictures of the BMW 's that he sent me were both within my budget! I was very excited, My husband and I came down to the dealership and the white car that I had liked out of the two looked gorgeous. The staff was great and everyone was so friendly I can honestly say I have never had so many people be so friendly and yes, just genuinely nice. It was refreshing after you already have this horrifying image of a salesperson chasing you around a dealership or pressuring you for a decision when you think of having to purchase a new car. My husband, myself, and my son all went down within a couple days to the dealership and we were unfortunately on a tight schedule because my husband had to be at work. Mr. Eisenhart was fast and efficient and we were in and out of the dealership within a very reasonable amount of time. He gave us the time to test drive the car alone and discuss any matters at hand privately, he showed me how everything on the car works and all of it's features, he answered any questions that we had, and was very thorough in each and every detail. I was thrilled when I left the lot with my brand new 2011 BMW that I apparently could afford after all! It was a pleasant experience and I can completely see why this dealership is one of the highest rated in the country. It's pretty obvious that they found out what people want and give it to them. I don't know why someone who is unfamiliar with BMW performance would ever want to take delivery of their new BMW any other way. We were blown away with what we were shown on the track. The fact that Matthew was able to drive the exact same model we purchased and see how it handled in panic braking situations and on the curves and hills of the track was worth the trip. Testing the stability control system on the skid pad (and spinning a BMW around a couple times when the system was disengaged) was amazing. You represent a great product (as I'm sure you know). The folks at the Performance Center instructed well, were patient with those of us who were a little less than enthused about "steering in the direction you want to go, not into the skid" (until we saw that what we had learned in driving many years ago really no longer applies) and represented the brand well. The plant tour was amazing - it had been a while since I was in an automotive assembly plant. The off-road portion of the delivery experience was also an eye opener when we were able to experience first hand the strength and agility of the BMW. Having it crawl down a very steep rock hill with wet tires to demonstrate the hill decent feature was very comforting. As parents, Vanessa and I left feeling very good about the BMW choice and the safety it will provide Matthew in the coming years. Now, regarding the treatment we received at Dave Walter, Vanessa, Matthew and I could not ask for a more patient group of folks. Matthew took several trips to research and drive the BMW X3 vs. several competitors. We were greeted with open arms each time we came to Dave Walter and felt that personal touch many times, including the time Frank put Matthew in the driver's seat and instructed him in a very detailed way on how to set up the driver's seat based on safety. We also remember the time that Bob took us out on very icy roads to show the x-Drive features. We didn't receive this kind of attention to detail anywhere else. We're thrilled that Matthew chose a BMW and truly appreciate the level of patience, service and expertise with which both the Dave Walter and Performance Center operations run. More

I was contacted by Bob Strecker after I found a BMW 335d listed on AutoTrader being sold by Dave Walter BMW. When I met with Bob, it was apparent that the car I was interested in did not have all the items listed on AutoTrader being sold by Dave Walter BMW. When I met with Bob, it was apparent that the car I was interested in did not have all the items I wanted in the car. Bob nevertheless allowed me to drive the car, which I loved. Bob was immediately able to find another dealer in another state that had the car specifications I was asking for, and offered it for a great price. He was able to have the car transported to Akron within only a few days, and as soon as I was back in town from a trip, he arranged to deliver the car at my first convenience. I always dreaded having to deal with car dealers when buying a car. However, this experience has definitely changed by view of buying a car from a dealer. I found Bob to be professional in all aspects of this sale, and he answered all my questions well (clearly very knowledgeable in every aspect of the car). Overall, any excellent experience...I would recommend him and this dealership to anyone interested in buying a new BMW. More
