My husband and I went to Dave Walter looking at certified pre-owned 3-series. Simon Brooker assisted us with what was available. There was no pressure put on us that evening to make the purchase immediately (as some car dealers will do to just make a sale). It was an auto purchase experience that neither my husband nor myself had ever experienced, but in a positive way. We went back two days later to seal the deal. To our surprise, the car had never been previously owned and was listed as a demo. So we got an awesome deal on the car and the original 4 year manufacture warranty started the day we purchased it. Since the deal was closed late in the day and the service department was closed, they were unable to secure a rental for us while we waited for the car to be "delivery condition." So they let us take the car that day and we scheduled to bring it back later in the week to get a full detail of the car. Simon has been VERY helpful and patient with all the questions I come up with and he made sure that we had everything we needed - and continues to do so. We did have a minor issue with a faulty fuel injector, but again Simon and Josh (service department) were very patient and wonderful to work with. They are professional and polite. I visited Dave Walter BMW on 27 Feb 10 to test drive 2 specific vehicles that were in stock. I was treated graciously and made to feel welcome. I test drove a 2009 328i w/manual trans w/Premium, Sport, Co specific vehicles that were in stock. I was treated graciously and made to feel welcome. The dealer made a special effort to get the car out of the heavy snow we received the night before so I could drive the vehicle. I was impressed with the vehicle but I wasn't convinced that I would be happy with this vehicle. Since I was trading a 2007 Z4 3.0i the sales person suggested I drive a 2009 135i w/manual trans, Premium and Sport packages. I am grateful that the suggestion was made. The car is every bit as responsive as I have read about. I purchased the 2009 135i and have not looked. I would recommend Dave Walter BMW to anyone looking for a professional dealer with a welcoming atmosphere and conscientious sales personnel that want to sell you the right vehicle not just a vehicle. My overall experience with Dave Walter BMW is an A1, 5 Star event. More
