The subordinates don't follow up either and if by chance they do... they have no information. I have purchased 9 BMW's in the past 10 years. By far, this is the "WORST" dealership I have ever had to deal with! This is the "Puppy Mill" of dealerships! More
I just sat, in my car, in the service area for over and hour. I had an appointment. No one came to check me in or even speak to me. Yet they helped the cars in front of me and behind me….. Horrible customer service. I made the mistake of ordering a new car here- they didn’t file the registration paperwork properly, AND they refused to let me register myself. They blew me off every time I tried to call to resolve the issue. Once they have your money, they don’t give a xxxx about any problems. Overcharged me by 1000$ after they “forgot” I paid a down payment as well. All they care about is stealing your money. More
The sales manager was dishonest and attempted to force me towards financing the vehicle at a higher amount, so the dealership could maximize its profit.. He also claimed that I needed to purchase the X3 wit towards financing the vehicle at a higher amount, so the dealership could maximize its profit.. He also claimed that I needed to purchase the X3 within an hour because another person was scheduled to come in and would likely buy the SUV. That was two weeks ago and the vehicle is still on the lot. I have simply ignored their phone calls since that regrettable visit. More

I normally would not write any review but I would like my experience shared with this dealership. Have had BMWs for several years and my experience with this dealership goes back many years ago when they are experience shared with this dealership. Have had BMWs for several years and my experience with this dealership goes back many years ago when they are located in Arlington. I live in Alexandria and refuse to buy or have my cars service through this dealership because of culture and behavior of this dealership - it is simply unreliable, untrustworthy, misleading communication, and just what everyone else said in these reviews are all true. I only came back to this dealership is because of the X1 I would like to buy in only available with this dealership. I bought the car through Nabil, we did not negotiate the price, did not apply for credit, a simple straight purchase. Then the car had some problems couple of weeks later, service was scheduled with Allan. I have had challenges in just dropping the car because I was informed that loaner will be provided as long as I come between 7a and 7:30a. I came within the time frame but no car loan and that's ok. But what transpired later is just amazing and brought several bad experiences with this dealer. Allan called and said the humming noise on the car is related to the tires according ti his technician and suggested replacing to eliminate the noise. I called Nabil who sold the car, he said he will take care of it. The technician called and said there is no problem with the tires, it is capping but I did not need to replace the tires. Without going with additional further details, I only took the car there for 1) convenience of location. I live 10 mins from this dealer, 2) it is under warranty. But just like with the rest of the BMWs, I won't be taking this car to this dealer and will take it to BMW Fairfax, BMW of Rockville if still under warranty. But J&F Mortors in Arlington is a great place to bring your car for service. More
The worst service experience from any service department. Inexperienced technicians, never a complete service where they always left something missing and no loaner cars. They can’t even keep their promises Inexperienced technicians, never a complete service where they always left something missing and no loaner cars. They can’t even keep their promises and arrange a shuttle not deliver the car timely. More
I waited a bit after taking possession of my 2019 (certified pre-owned) X1 from BMW Alexandria in July 2022 because I wanted the objectivity time time can buy —how much of my dissatisfaction with th (certified pre-owned) X1 from BMW Alexandria in July 2022 because I wanted the objectivity time time can buy —how much of my dissatisfaction with the dealership had to do with me, and how much didn’t. I’m there. The car? Very happy. The dealership? Here it is: 1) they would not take a deposit while I arranged financing, and I was a former customer; 2) when I decided just after taking possession of the car (well before BMW submitted the paperwork for Title and tags) I had to wait 2 hours at the dealership for a two-minute paperwork update. No one seemed to concerned about the wait, no matter that I spent almost $40k just 2 days prior (did the fact that I declined to finance the vehicle through BMW, and declined an extended warranty have anything to do with that disinterest?); 3) once the paperwork was updated to add my wife, which took 4 days while the credit union handling the post-sale loan waited, the paperwork included a number of mistakes that promised to make a later sale or trade of the car problematic. 5) The next set of paperwork took another 4 days. No one seemed particularly concerned with the wait, though lip service was periodically given to ‘making things right.’ 6) the kicker: once the paperwork was corrected and the financing finalized, it was me who called the dealership regarding the tags, first to arrange for a new temp tag because time had expired, and then again to confirm the hard tags were there. When I contacted the salesman, Nicky, to have the second temp tag tags and the floor mats mailed/shipped as he’d promised to do at the time of sale (floor mats were not available at time I got the car, although that was not mentioned until I completed the paperwork), he said “his manager” would not let him ship either one. Why, I asked? Because “I tried to make you happy, but obviously did not.” Two trips from DC to BMW for the tags and the mats. And what did I bring to this? Well, I did tell the salesman I would buy the pre-owned X1, and then changed my mind the next morning because I decided I wanted a new one instead. And then I changed my mind again the next morning, on which day I wrote a check and purchased the car. There you have it. Love the car. Hated the post-sale process/experience. Maybe that’s the way of things when it comes to purchasing cars. BMW of Alexandria seems to think my expectations were unreasonable. For me, I don’t expect to ever go back. NOTE: Stopped in at BMW of Fairfax recently to arrange an oil change. Actually liked the service tech and the vibe of the place. More
I was told my vehicle woul take approximately two to two a half hours to service. I finall asked a service manager why no one had contacted me while I waited in the waiting room. He directed me to the servi a half hours to service. I finall asked a service manager why no one had contacted me while I waited in the waiting room. He directed me to the service man who worked on my vehicle. I waited another 15 minutes for paperwork. My bill was $48.00 but I was charged $213.59. I have called, emailed and texted the dealership and I’ve had no response. More
If I could give 0 stars, I would. In May of this year, I purchased a warranty when I bought my car. In June, i got approved for refinancing, but was told by the bank that they could not finance the warranty. I have been literally begging BMW to cancel my warranty so that I can obtain refinancing. The process started in May, first the website wasn't working, then in June I went in person and got receipt of the cancelation. I was told that it would take 6 weeks. I patiently waited 6 weeks.. nothing happened. I went back to BMW in August to find out my paperwork was never submitted and I would have to wait another six weeks! Last month in September, I contacted the warranty company directly and was told that BMW never submitted the cancelation. The warranty company asked me to fax over the documents in which I did and the following week I got confirmation that the warranty was finally canceled and that BMW would refund the cost $2,300, would be paid directly to my lien holder. It is now mid October , 5 months later, and my lien holder has yet to receive the refund. I am totally disgusted with this dealership and this has been the worst experience ever!! I do not recommend doing business with this dealership. The management is very rude and dismissive. I told the manager that paying my car payment with the current rate is causing me a hardship, he totally ignored me and stopped responding to my calls. I feel that the dealership is trying to keep my money. I am now seeking legal advice. More
