Needs significant improvement- I had a 7am appointment for an oil change. I didn’t get checked in until 7:45am. I opted to take the shuttle home rather than wait in the lobby (no loaners available), which for an oil change. I didn’t get checked in until 7:45am. I opted to take the shuttle home rather than wait in the lobby (no loaners available), which meant I was lower priority. I received zero communication until the car was finally ready around 5pm! Also, apparently the service agent quoted me the wrong price. When I asked about the price difference at check out, the manager informed me of the error but was kind enough to waive the charges altogether. I appreciate the gesture, but am still hesitant to return. More

I recently visited BMW of Alexandria for a state inspection, aesthetic maintenance, and an electrical issue covered under warranty for my 5 Series. While the service team addressed the initial conce inspection, aesthetic maintenance, and an electrical issue covered under warranty for my 5 Series. While the service team addressed the initial concerns, my experience was mixed and left room for improvement. Upon dropping off my vehicle, I was initially given a 2 Series loaner, which was not comparable to my 5 Series. After raising this concern, the staff provided a much more suitable loaner vehicle, and I appreciate their effort to rectify the situation. However, when I picked up my car, I discovered a new issue: the AC unit was no longer functioning. This was disappointing, as I would expect a thorough check of critical systems before returning the vehicle. Now, I’m faced with the inconvenience of scheduling another drop-off and pickup, which adds unnecessary hassle to the process. Additionally, I’ve been trying to schedule a test drive for a new SUV for my wife for the past two weeks. The sales department’s communication has been inconsistent, making it difficult to move forward with this purchase. While I appreciate the service team’s effort to provide a comparable loaner after my complaint, the oversight with the AC and the lack of responsiveness from the sales team have been frustrating. I hope BMW of Alexandria can address these issues to improve the overall customer experience. More
