I purchased my used 2018 430i Gran Coupe 3 mos ago and brought it in for an oil change. At which time I was told there were several things that needed my attention but nothing significant. I purchased the oil package and declined the additional repairs.. I went in yesterday for another oil change because I have been traveling slog and I was due. Ome of the first things I mentioned was my oil package at check-in. Fast forward I receive the service video at 9:17am, about an hour later I’m presented with a quote for items not even mentioned on the trip literally less than 3 mos ago and excluding the recommendations for that trip. I understand the need to make money but I was not interested in the outrageous price gauging. So I declined. It was literally about 10:05am. I was asked if I had time for a car wash which I said yes, but absolutely would’ve said no if I knew it would cost me 2 MORE HOURS OF MY TIME! Finally the car was ready, went to check out, and I’m asked how do I want to pay the $131? FOR WHAT? The service advisor then said sorry I forgot you had the package, handed me my keys and told me my car was out back. Once I reached out back my car was indeed NOT there, so I had to go on a scavenger hunt to find it. Once found, it wasn’t even thoroughly cleaned so WHY did I wait 2 additional hours? No vacuum and still wet. Lastly, they updated the name on the vehicle to mine but left the previous owners address information. Literally never even asked mine, isn’t that some violation of privacy? Horrible experience, I would’ve said 1 star but the snacks are the best part of the experience. More
The service advisor, Jane, was condescending and began recommending services before the vehicle had even been properly inspected. Unlike previous visits, no thorough check of the car was performed to dete recommending services before the vehicle had even been properly inspected. Unlike previous visits, no thorough check of the car was performed to determine its actual service needs. Instead, the recommendations appeared to be based solely on prior service history rather than the current condition of the vehicle. Additionally, I did not receive the inspection video that is normally provided, which further reduced my confidence in the service experience. Overall, I was very disappointed with the level of professionalism and customer care I received from this advisor. Based on this experience, I would not choose to work with Jane again. More
