I can’t say enough good things about BMW of Atlantic City and especially my service advisor, Scott Petrus. From start to finish, Scott went above and beyond to turn what could have been a nightmare warranty and especially my service advisor, Scott Petrus. From start to finish, Scott went above and beyond to turn what could have been a nightmare warranty situation into an absolutely outstanding experience. When my third-party warranty company failed to step up, Scott and the team didn’t just give up — they did their due diligence, dug into the issue, and worked directly with BMW USA to get my parts covered under the emissions warranty. That level of effort and advocacy is something you just don’t see often in the auto industry anymore. Scott kept me informed through every step, explained everything clearly, and made sure the work was handled with precision and care. I brought my 2016 BMW 328i to BMW of Atlantic City for a simple oil change before a long road trip. Even though it was an expensive repair I wasn’t prepared for, I approved it because I needed the car for work and trusted their expertise. They returned the vehicle saying it “passed with flying colors.” Halfway through my trip, my check engine light came on and I smelled burning oil. When I stopped, the engine bay was covered in oil. A BMW dealership in Massachusetts confirmed that BMW of Atlantic City had failed to replace a crucial gasket during reassembly—causing oil and fuel to mix in my engine over 500 miles of driving. I was stranded out of state for four days, racking up expenses, stress, and time away from work. Despite clear negligence, the service director, Stanwood Martin, offered only a token refund and a dealership gift card—as if I’d ever trust them with my vehicle again. BMW of Atlantic City has shown zero accountability and no regard for customer safety, time, or the BMW brand they represent. Do not bring your vehicle here for service. Buyer beware—once they have your money, their commitment to quality and customer care ends immediately. Take your business elsewhere. - James F. More

I believe I am a loyal customer of BMW. My current 2021 X5 is the third BMW I have owned in over a decade. But my recent repair experience at Atlantic City BMW has left me deeply disappoint My current 2021 X5 is the third BMW I have owned in over a decade. But my recent repair experience at Atlantic City BMW has left me deeply disappointed. My car was purchased in Canada, and last week during my trip to the United States, the engine coolant sounded an alarm. So I sent the car to Atlantic City BMW for repairs, and they replaced the water pump. They completed the replacement of the water pump on the same day, but since my car was purchased in Canada, including the Extend BMW warranty as well, they insisted on holding my car until they completed the warranty verification procedures. Although I repeatedly stated that I could pay a deposit of $2000-3000 first, because I need a car when traveling and I have a lot of luggage and personal belongings, not having a car would be very inconvenient for me, and paying the deposit can make the dealer risk-free. Although they were very certain that my extend BMW warranty could bear the repair, their manager still refused to give me the car. So I waited for five days, and after multiple reminders to no avail, on the afternoon of the sixth day, I couldn't bear it anymore and rushed to their office. Standing in front of the counter, I watched as the service staff made a phone call in just a few minutes. The so-called procedure was completed, and I could pick up my car. A phone call that didn't take ten minutes made me wait for almost six days! However, can you believe it? When I drove over a hundred miles to catch up with my journey, the engine coolant alarm came again! This is the repair result they made me wait for six days! I have never seen a BMW dealer who is so indifferent, irresponsible, and unprofessional towards their customers' feelings! More
