Yes another dealership was much closer but I didn't feel confident buying such an expense purchase from them. Completely different experience with Agnes and Motor Werks. To start she was the ONE contact through the whole process. From the 1st emails and calls, to my trade in, to financing.... she was my contact. I wasn't handed off to anyone different. Barrington is over an hour drive for me and when I arrived Agnes was waiting right at the door and had everything ready to roll. I felt like I was listened to and treated really well. The process was smooth, fast, and I felt confident in purchasing from Agnes. Lots of positives for me after me after a disappointing start to my search. All BMW dealerships are NOT the same. Michael was also helpful during the process in helping me understand a number of different financial scenarios to assist with the decision between leasing and buying, while factoring in various down payments. It was collaborative and productive, when prior experiences at other dealerships during this stage have been inefficient and contentious. While it was a further drive for me to get to Barrington, it was well worth the trip. More

Overall happy with my experience I came to BMW of Barrington to look at a new BMW X1. Family members had purchased from Motor Werks before, so that was my first choice in dealership. I came to BMW of Barrington to look at a new BMW X1. Family members had purchased from Motor Werks before, so that was my first choice in dealership. Austin K. was patient and was helpful in my decision to purchase a new vehicle. Both Austin & Aldijana were great in locating a vehicle with the exact options I wanted, from another dealership. When it came to the purchase, the dealership was extremely busy, but I was there for 3+ hours. I would've come on a less busy day if I knew, but I also was excited to get my new car. There were some hiccups (my deposit was not applied to the purchase, a small part missing from the vehicle) but those things were resolved within a week of purchase. I liked the "no pressure" approach at the dealership. More
