Modern Day Online Buying Experience Car buying can be a very stressful experience. After reading through several reviews, I decided to email Harry Gianos [Client Advisor]. To my pleasant Car buying can be a very stressful experience. After reading through several reviews, I decided to email Harry Gianos [Client Advisor]. To my pleasant surprise, Michael Gargano [Sales Manager] intercepted my message and immediately responded since Harry was off that day. Fortunately, Mike was equally wonderful and we were able to work out a deal via email. Some dealers will ignore your inquiry unless you call them over the phone or show up in person. Those dealers fail to realize that it is not always convenient to call when trying to discreetly do online shopping at work. When I take the time to go somewhere it is because I'm ready to purchase. Thankfully, Mike understood and we had a delightful email exchange with all details worked out prior to arrival. When I showed up on Saturday, Harry was present and greeted me warmly. The car was ready to be test driven and Thomas Munyer [BMW genius] did a brief technology run through. The part that took the longest was waiting for the finance department. Aldijana Hodzic [Finance Manager] was very busy that day but she did her best to tie up loose ends as quickly as possible. By chance, I happen to meet Christopher Lima [General Manager] who apologized for the wait and said that they are working on a faster process in the near future. A week later, I realized there was a keycard issue. Nicalette Theodosis [BMW genius] tried to trouble shoot it via email but ended up advising I bring the car back for service. Kenneth Klusendorf [Service Advisor] is a recent addition to the team and did not know what the keycard was since it is a very new feature so he had the technicians look at it. They were unable to link it to my car and recommended a new keycard be ordered. Fortunately, Andy Shah [Sales Manager] was aware about my recent car purchase and waived the cost of the new keycard replacement. When the replacement keycard arrived, Victor Najjar [Service Advisor] was able to have the technicians reprogram the system to get it to link up properly. Throughout the entire process, Harry was always present. He helped me with my initial purchase, scheduled my PermaPlate detail, and arranged both my follow up keycard service appointments. That is the epitome of excellent customer service with continued support even after purchase. I will definitely be seeking out both Mike and Harry for all my future car buying needs. Highly recommend those two guys. Thanks for everything! More

Harry G. and the rest of the team helped me with the transaction from start to finish. Everyone was very friendly and timely with calls, texts and emails. It was a great first buying experience. There were some unexpected issues that happened diring the process (pricing error on the website and a certification issue). Harry G., Mike G. and Andy S. worked to overcome these issues and earn my business. I was happy with the low pressure, transparent sales process overall. Ryan D. in finance was extremely easy to work and helpful. He answered all my questions and provided me with the extended warranty information I requested. I appreciated that he didn't try to pressure me into buying any additional services or protection packages once I said I wasn't interested. When I came to pick up the vehicle, I met with Nicalette T. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and helped get everything setup and personalized before I left the dealership. Overall, it was a great experience and I'm very happy with my purchase. Great experience NOT buying a BMW We came to BMW Barrington to drive a used Jeep Grand Cherokee. We definitely had reservations when we were greeted by Robert, a BMW sales rep. Over the course of our experience, our reservations melted away. Robert knew a surprising amount about the vehicle, and was very straightforward and honest with us. The condition of the vehicle was phenomenal. We met with the used car manager (forget his name) who was equally pleasant and straightforward. We were offered a very fair and transparent deal for the car we wanted, but honestly, even if we saved a small amount of money going elsewhere (which I’m not sure we would have), the experience at BMW Barrington was worth buying there. The best part, was that although we were buying a Jeep from a BMW dealer, talking finances with a Porsche rep and surrounded by exorbitantly expensive cars, we were never ONCE treated any differently than the customers in there ready to drop 80k. When we are ready to buy again, this group of dealerships will be our first stop. Thank you to Robert, Raul and the Used Car manager. More
