i researched my vehicle thoroughly before going to a dealer, and then i researched dealers. i chose bmw of bridgeport because it had several x3's in inventory, and a bigger inventory in general, compar dealer, and then i researched dealers. i chose bmw of bridgeport because it had several x3's in inventory, and a bigger inventory in general, compared to another dealer which was a bit closer. i wanted to check out the rear seating for space. i also wanted to compare the sport seats with the regular seats [liked the sport seats], and see if i wanted the heads up display [no]. i later learned that the fact that bmw of bridgeport is a high volume, center-of-excellence dealer probably got me an earlier production slot than i might have received elsewhere. the fact that the dealer was rated very highly on this website also contributed to my decision to go there. i looked over the reviews of their salespeople, and saw that they were all positive. the fact that kurt kressu had by far the most reviews led me to conclude that he sold a lot of vehicles and thus knew how to get a deal done. i emailed kurt and arranged a time to come in. i spent a little time checking out the rear seat, the various front seat choices and the heads up display and then sat down to negotiate a price. he sat at his computer and i had my laptop open in front of me with all the info i had on pricing, and a lease calculator. we went through the options i had chosen, agreed on what the msrp was and then i asked kurt to give me a price. he offered a price within $100 of the lowest price i could get through truecar at a dealer several hundred miles away. i thought that was reasonable and agreed. we were done in very little time. but wait, there's more... i wanted to do a performance center delivery. [pcd, highly recommended, a lot of fun and a unique experience that really teaches you what you're paying for. i took my son along and it was a blast.] kurt handled the arrangements very efficiently, and communicated promptly with me via email. on the whole, kurt made it a very easy transaction, and was very helpful in setting up the pcd. so far my experience with bmw of bridgeport, and with kurt kressu, has been a pleasure. In 20 years of driving and having the regular repairs and occaisional body shop work, I've never had a more disappointing dealership experience than I've had in the last 18 months with BMW of Bridgeport. occaisional body shop work, I've never had a more disappointing dealership experience than I've had in the last 18 months with BMW of Bridgeport. The front desk clerks are about as accomodating as IRS front office folks (no offense to the IRS). The work often requires 2x trips to fix, and in our case there are things they simply haven't fixed. Arrogant is the best single word to describe them. I'm now so put off that I'm thinking that buying expensive cars is simply not worth it when the service is so lacking. More

Kurt was nothing but helpful. He tok the time to meet with us on multiple days and explained everything. When we took delivery of our car he even called Sirius for us to set up the free trial. My experience with Tom was so positive back in April (when I leased my wife an X5) that I returned to Tom when my 2009 BMW 335i lease was expiring this winter. The current generation 3-series is set to be replaced in February 2012, yet I wanted one of the last "E90" models. And I wanted it custom ordered with very specific options and color combinations. Tom was more than accommodating and put together my eclectic order for a Space Grey Metallic 335i sedan w/ manual transmission, Chestnut Brown (red) interior, the M Sport Package and virtually every other option. To my surprise, Tim (Sales Manager) came out and said he wouldn't accept my order until I had driven a 3-series with xDrive! I figured this was just a ploy to get me to upgrade to the more expensive AWD model, but Tim told me he'd give it to me for the same price as the RWD model. "This is the only RWD purchase order I've seen all year. With our winters, you owe it to yourself to try the xDrive." Next thing I knew, I was parking my current BMW in the gated parking area and taking home a new 335i xDrive for a weekend-long test drive. I came back on Monday and ordered the xDrive :-) Since, the car was one of the very last of the E90 sedans to roll off the assembly line, it arrived (earlier than expected) with different wheels than I was expecting. (They had run out of the M Sport package wheels and had substituted the regular Sport package wheels.) Tom could see I was disappointed, so he threw in one of the very nice iPhone snap in adapters to go with my new 4S. The 335 has been in my driveway for about a month now, and it's a fantastic car. And thanks to the better residual values on the xDrive models, Tim even saved me a few bucks per-month on my payments! Thanks, Tom and Tim! More

I previously purchased two other automobiles from Jason and when I went to purchase a car this summer and found out that he was at BMW of Bridgeport, I immediately went there and purchased from him a 2011 X3 (I love it!). I trusted Jason, he is a knowledgeable salesperson, and he made the purchase process a smooth one. I am so happy to be an owner of a new BMW and am thankful to Jason for helping to make it happen! The dealership was also responsive to my needs. I felt welcomed and the actual purchase transaction, facilitated by Jeff Pearce, went smoothly. I was guided through the process and had everything thoroughly explained to me. I would recommend BMW of Bridgeport (and I have). I would recommend purchasing a BMW from Jason Gellatly (and I have).
