Best BMW dealership in Southern California I typically don't write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with Steve Thomas BMW or more specifically, Mr. Kwinn Knight, the Sales Mana I typically don't write reviews but felt compelled to share my experience with Steve Thomas BMW or more specifically, Mr. Kwinn Knight, the Sales Manager. As I was looking around for good deals on a BMW i3 I emailed several dealerships around LA. Not only was Kwinn's deal the best in terms of price he also was prompt in his replies, open with sharing details of the lease deal and never ever pushy. From initial contact to picking up the car only 4 days had passed and I didn't mind driving the 50 miles, knowing I wouldn't be taken for a ride when signing the lease. Jim the Finance Director was also a pleasure to deal with and the terms matched exactly what had been previously agreed upon with Kwinn. If only more dealerships would conduct business like Steve Thomas BMW, the industry would have a far better reputation than it has today. Perhaps it could even be fun shopping for a car? I certainly felt that way dealing with them and I can only recommend to reach out to Kwinn and experience it yourself. More

Stay Away I purchased a certificated 2011 BMW coupe with only 24k miles from Frank at Steve Thomas BMW about a year ago. While dealing on the car I explained t I purchased a certificated 2011 BMW coupe with only 24k miles from Frank at Steve Thomas BMW about a year ago. While dealing on the car I explained to Frank that I am purchasing a certified car because I did not want a car that had been in an accident. Frank pulled out the Car Fax and it was clean so I purchased it. About a month later I found out the car had been in an accident and had a Car Fax with an accident on it. I immediately contacted Frank and he apologized stating he must have pulled a Car Fax from a similar coupe by mistake. The car had 9 different shades of red, really low quality paint on 3 of the panels, a TON of bondo, and a fog lamp that was not attached to the bumper! Steve Thomas Jr. then contacted me and refused to buy the car back and said,"we are not in the business of buying cars back" In what ended up being a screaming match on the phone. I'm a high school teacher and this was a special purchase for me as I work very hard for what little money I have. I'm now stuck with the car. I tried trading the car into several dealerships and they refused to take the car. I took the car to Rusnak and Bob Smith and both said they would never have certified the car. They both stated they would also have purchased the car back in a heartbeat. Steve Thomas stuck me with a dirty car and treated me like the xxxx of the Earth over it. Stay far away from this place! From my past experience Ive always felt pushed into a car where I was questioning whether I'd made the right decision to buy or lease but not this time! I never once felt pushed or finagled. A genuine experience! Everything was laid out on the table up front to assure that I understood everything financially as well as all bells and whistles on the vehicle. I was always informed. First off, let me say that your professionalism and calm demeanor makes the buying experience feel so comfortable. The dealership's philosophy of making the customer feel like family is something rarely experienced these days, and I certainly find it to be a most enjoyable part of BMW ownership. The enthusiasm and welcoming attitudes of all the employees makes me glad to have a reason to stop by the dealership. Now, as for my first drive in my new car, it was an experience I will never forget. I told you I was going to head up Hwy 33 to break in the car, and right after I left the dealership I took the long way around via Balcom Canyon, the 150, and then on to the 33. I got acquainted with the car relatively quickly, but once I hit the 33, the true nature of the vehicle became very apparent. It had all the performance and quality I had hoped for, and a lot more. My manual 128i with the M Sport Package is the perfect recipe for the "Ultimate Driving Machine". The handling is stellar. The response of the inline 6 is immediate and confidence inspiring, and the fit, finish and quality make this car the most satisfying vehicle I have ever driven. It exceeded my expectations tenfold. You know I already own three BMW performance motorcycles, and I thought nothing could offer up a more thrilling experience, but I have to say, this car does. I was all smiles on that road yesterday, and I knew without question I had made the right decision ordering this BMW. The experience goes well beyond the car's athleticism in the canyons. It displays amazing comfort and quietness around town and on freeways. Even with all the performance, the car is still ideal for a daily commute or a long road trip. It simply does everything perfectly. As I continue to drive the car, it is abundantly apparent that the engineers at BMW have obsessed about every aspect of the vehicle to create the perfect driving experience. Things like the placement of the arm rest, or the steering wheel ergonomics just feel precisely right. The clearness of the gauges and console also just seem optimal. The lack of wind noise or buffeting with only one window open is a triumph of aerodynamics. Being able to lower the entire seat assembly to the floor of the car, allowing the driver the lowest center of gravity, is such a great performance oriented feature. These things and a long list of others never cease to make you sincerely appreciate the painstakingly thorough efforts the engineers at BMW have gone to. To conclude, I just want to thank you for steering me back to my original vision of what kind of car I really wanted, and helping to make it a reality. Anyone who cares enough about a customer to do that, is for me, a friend for life. I have no doubt I will be a lifelong customer at your dealership as long as people like you are involved. I have no regrets, and I can state without reservation that this is the best car I have ever had the pleasure of owning. More
