What is remarkable about Ryan is that he does not believe in the hard core sales approach. He is knowledgeable and genuine and was much more interested in listening to what I wanted in my new car vs. what he wanted to sell me. Ryan responded very quickly to my email and was more than willing to work around my busy schedule to set up a test drive and discuss options for purchasing my new car. Many dealerships treat women differently and assume that their husband is buying them a new BMW so they address the man in their conversation. I have experienced this many times in my life at other dealerships and always found it ridiculous when I clearly knew more about the cars then the salesmen did. Steve Thomas BMW has never done this and is the reason why I remain a loyal customer. It is one thing to have a positive experience when buying a new car but consistent service is another important thing to consider. We purchased our 528i BMW from Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW and all I can say is "WOW"! I knew the first time I spoke with Ryan over the phone he was the one I wanted to not only work with but buy from and BMW and all I can say is "WOW"! Working with Ryan Amico at Steve Thomas BMW was a great experience. I first spotted my 2010 BMW 335i online at Steve Thomas's website. It is a lemans blue e90 6spd, one of the 335i on the market. I was expected a sort of snobby attitude because the car was so rare, and how would a 20 year old pay for such a car. No such attitudes were conveyed to me when I met with Ryan Amico. He instantly let us test drive the car and I fell in love. His demeanor inside the test drive was that of enthusiasm, which matched my already enthused attitude. I loved the car, but my father had his doubts (I am making car payments to him instead of leasing it by myself). Ryan answered all of his questions with accuracy and integrity. Ryan gave us the bottom line on the car straight up. It was an amazing deal and I was surprised how swiftly he went to the bottom line. My father and I decided to think about it for a week. We revisited Steve Thomas and test drove the car for a second time, which Ryan was pleased to conduct. We stared at the car for some time and decided to keep thinking as we drove to LA to pick up my refinished BBS wheels. On the way down my father and I discussed how professionally Ryan Amico had handled the situation. It was a gorgeous car and there was no way I could let it out of my sights or hands. We called Ryan Amico and said that it was a done deal; we would take it. He responded with pleasure and said that the car would be washed and detailed immediately. My experience with Steve Thomas BMW was that of great enthusiasm, joy, and professionalism. It was great to talk to a salesperson who had the same enthusiams for the brand and car as I did. Just out of curiosity, I emailed Ryan to see how my trade-in BM Steve Thomas BMW in Camarillo and the entire process was swift, easy and hassle-free. Just out of curiosity, I emailed Ryan to see how my trade-in BMW would translate into buying a newer vehicle. I really was not looking into buying another vehicle as I still had existing payments on my old one. It was a Thursday when I had emailed Ryan and he quickly responded back within 15-30 minutes. To me, that is huge when someone (as busy as Ryan is) responds so quickly to client emails. Online, we conversed back and forth with numbers, procedures and so forth. Ryan was very up front and he wanted to make sure I understood how my trade-in worked and how that would play out in the later months. The next day (Friday), I emailed Ryan to see if he had a slot open for me to come check out the vehicle and perhaps take a test drive. Again, he quickly replied back and we set up an appointment. Mind you - I was going to just see the car and I was not going to make any decisions that day. I loved the BMW I was already driving and I really didn't have a reason to look into another vehicle. After the test drive, we sat in his office and talked more about the vehicle, financing, and what everyone is normally concerned about...monthly payments. During the whole process, Ryan was honest, up front, and non-aggressive. Eventually, we were able to work out a deal where my new payments on the newer BMW just came out a little higher than what I was already paying with the older BMW. Steve Thomas BMW is lucky to have Ryan Amico as an Internet Sales Manager and I'm glad that I was able to work with him. My family has purchased multiple BMWs from Steve Thomas, and when it came to purchasing my own I couldn't think of going anywhere else. I worked with a couple salesman that just did not seem to want my bus and when it came to purchasing my own I couldn't think of going anywhere else. I began my search for the best place to buy my car by filling out a form on Edmunds.com. Within a couple of hours, I had about ten replies. Most of them were form letters. I live in L.A., and at the time, I wasn't considering driving fifty miles to buy a BMW, especially since there is a BMW dealership literally walking distance from my office. By the end of that first day, Ryan's was the quote to beat, and I had already decided that due to the friendly straightforward volley of e-mails we exchanged, that I wouldn't use his quote to negotiate elsewhere. When I expressed my hesitation about the distance, Ryan also offered to deliver the car to me at my home or office if I preferred. Ryan had the car I wanted in stock, but then I discovered (from him) that the car with the exact specs I wanted (a slightly unusual combination) was being delivered to a dealership in Northern California and he could get it for me by the weekend if I wanted it. To make a long story a little shorter, I picked up the car last weekend, spent at least two hours with Ryan who explained every feature in detail and answered every question. I test drove it, my boyfriend drove it, Ryan even paired my phone to it. And he was as delightful and informed as he had appeared to be via e-mail. The car is exactly what I wanted and I LOVE it.
