Professional with affable employees dedicated to quality. I expect my sales and service experience at a premium auto dealership to be equal or beyond the cost and quality of the automobiles that they sell. I expect my sales and service experience at a premium auto dealership to be equal or beyond the cost and quality of the automobiles that they sell. BMW of Des Moines personnel always meet or exceed those expectations starting with the General Manager, Scott Long to Tony Kapsch, the ultimate professional in sales to Tyler, the Service Manager to Dennis Christie in service. Add the above to the comfort and convenience of the dealership physical plant and one is the recipient of the ultimate dealership experience. More

Be warned I would highly recommend going to another independent shop to get work done on your BMW. The service advisors here are paid on commission, which incentivizes repeat trips to the service station/dealership. I had my BMW serviced here for a water pump and thermostat- a $1700 repair. When I got the vehicle back at closing, the heater was not working. The heat was fully functional before the repair, and it needed an additional almost $500 worth of work to get the heat back. Bottom line - I would not trust this service center or any BMW service center as they pay their service advisors with commission. This could easily lead to incentivizing repeat trips for customers for problems that were manufactured in the service center. More

After a couple months of ownership the vehicle needed to get serviced and was in the shop for about a month. My advisor is Tyler Van Weelden, Tyler is by far the best service advisor i have worked with. Customer service is top notch. I take pride in my cars and I am very picky. Tyler being an car enthusiast himself knew where i was coming from and assured me that everything would be fine. No matter how many emails i sent or how many times i called he was there to answer all of my questions. BMW of Des Moines is amazing from service to sales. I highly recommend them to anyone needing service or to purchase a new vehicle More

They have an awesome facility and it made waiting for my BMW service so much better. The professional level of service that I received was great and I was on my way in about an hour. My BMW Service Advisor, Jared, was very helpful and gave me the full list of maintenance items that my BMW needed. I chose to hold off on a couple of items that weren't in need of attention right away. He was very friendly and courteous. I was able to use the waiting area to sit comfortably while utilizing their free WiFi, coffee, and fresh baked cookies! Excellent experience and I'll be having all of my future service work performed by BMW of Des Moines. More

After waited for approximately 1-1/2 hours for the check up, I was told that the radiator from my car was bad, besides the ABS light problem. I told them that it can't be because I had the whole cooling systems changed a year ago. It can't happen so fast. As soon as I got home I jack up my car for personal inspection. I found out that they broke the radiator draining xxxx and told me that there's something wrong with it. First, I changed the radiator fluid two days before bringing my car to this dealership for service and the xxxx was totally fine. Secondly, if the xxxx was broken because I ran into a huge bump or car accident, the tubes, holes, and other parts of the car will be damaged or scratch, but this is not the case. So the dealership must puprosely broke the xxxx and let the coolant drain slowly making me think that there's something wrong with the radiator. This is a serious problem because the car made ran out fo radiator fluid, cause the car to overheat, and cause severe damage to the engine. I called them back immediately an hour after the service to tell them the problem, but I was hung up by them. Sincerely, Ken Phung kphung02@yahoo.com More
