I found the whole purchasing experience very stress free, and, I very much appreciated David showing me how the features worked on the X5, and giving me the confidence to know that I am truly behind the wheel of the ultimate driving machine. I brought my car in to have it inspected (2000 323ci convertible) Even though the car is 11 years old they treated me like I was driving an M6. I was surprised by the need for replacement of parts that another repair shop had installed only a year previously and when I went back to the previous shop, they told me no way they should have replaced those parts! they made me believe that they used only BMW parts. to make a long story short, West German BMW went out of their way to honor the 2 year parts warranty on the parts they replaced even though they really didn't have to. It turned out that the previous mechanic had lied to me and when I requested the invoices for the BMW parts, he sheepishly told me "they were aftermarket parts." They made me look like a fool because I was angry at West German BMW and during the process, I was kind of a jerk to them because I thought they did unnecessary repairs. West German BMW never lost their cool, they conducted their business with integrity and completely exposed the other mechanic shop I had used for what it was: a low budget shop that does shoddy work with sub standard parts. Even after I was rude, and in spite of the fact that they did nothing wrong, West German BMW knocked a significant amount off the repair bill. They won my business for as long as I live in the area! I liked best about my experience with West German was their integrity. When I first contacted the dealership about the car I was looking for they told me it was on the lot and when I arrived it was. I visited four BMW dealerships during my new car search. I was impressed with West German BWW in Fort Washington, PA, and in particular with my sales person, Dave Cochran. I had Dave price my 535i a number of different ways in order to get the options I wanted but to keep the cost below a certain threshold. He was pleasant and helpful in every way. West German BMW is surely not the largest dealership in my area, but in my opinion it delivers the most personal and least stressful buying experience. Though it's a bit out of my way, I intend to return there for service. More
I like to go into a dealership fairly prepared in terms of knowing the features / functions / price that I want in a vehicle. The representative needs to be able to quickly answer my questions as well as of knowing the features / functions / price that I want in a vehicle. The representative needs to be able to quickly answer my questions as well as describe any nuances of the car that typically aren't called out on the website or in magazine articles. Greg Urban has a technical background, so we were able to get into details very quickly and I was able to use my time well. He had an excellent knowledge of the vehicle and answered all my questions well. Being local to the dealer, they were very willing to be price competitive in order to secure my service business. Greg did the legwork to find the model in the area that had my list of desired features. Finally, the close was simple and clean and he provided just the right amount of "training" before I drove off. I've had the car a couple weeks now and had to call with a couple of questions. They responded very quickly and I look forward to working with West German in the future. More

Last week, I purchased my first BMW from West German and can honestly say it was a wonderful overall experience. I had done considerable research on the vehicle I was looking at (2007 335xi) beforehand so I can honestly say it was a wonderful overall experience. I had done considerable research on the vehicle I was looking at (2007 335xi) beforehand so I was fairly prepared going into the dealership. Andrew Kim was the sales associate who handled my purchase. He was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. When I first got there, we discussed what I was looking for in a car (mainly performance), which was followed up by a test drive. Although I was pretty sure the 335xi was the car I wanted, the test drive definitely confirmed this. After the test drive, Andrew and I discussed the financials of the purchase. He was very honest with me throughout the process and made the me feel very comfortable, something other dealerships usually fail to do. He couldn't have been further from the negative, conniving stereotype that sometimes goes with car salesmen -- he was just the opposite. He truly made me feel like he was a friend that had only my best interests in mind. After talking with him for about 30-45 minutes, I decided to make the purchase. Originally, I was going to take delivery the following week, however, I contacted Andrew two days later to ask if I could take delivery that day. Despite the fact that Andrew was not even scheduled to work that day, he still set up the arrangements to ensure delivery that same day. I was extremely impressed and appreciative of the fact that he was able to do this with such short notice, especially on his day off. Its been one week since the purchase and I have absolutely no regrets. If I could do it again, I would go back to the same dealership and deal with the exacts same sales rep. Like I said above, the experience surpassed my expectations by a large margin. In short, purchasing the BMW couldn't have worked out any better. More
