I ultimately got clarification on my concerns, but the process to get there was unreasonably difficult. As a result, I messaged my original sales manager (Liam Walsh) and business manager (Kevin Bednar) but received no response. I then contacted Hendrick corporate and again received no correspondence, so I circled back to the dealership. I later messaged the general manager (Christopher Lily) and was redirected to a different sales manager (Justin Nicholas), who designated as my point of contact. He informed me that I had no warranty contracts in the system. I responded clarifying that I possessed finance documents listing the contract names, along with bank statements matching the contract amounts. At that point, I requested a meeting with Justin, which also went unanswered. I then went into the dealership in person and asked for him directly, but was instead taken back to one of the original representatives I had contacted, Kevin. He reiterated what Justin had said and reprinted a screenshot showing no plans selected. After I supplied my documents and explained that the contracts had been paid in full rather than financed, he was eventually able to locate the contracts and explained that they were filed separately from the rest of my vehicle paperwork. He then printed the outline of what the warranty plans included. It is now a month and a half later, and I finally received the answer to my original inquiry. Additionally, I requested clarification regarding the condition of my vehicle’s tires given that the tread is already on the lower end despite being told the tires were replaced prior to sale, there only being a year of ownership, and only 8,000 miles added. Although the tires currently measure at 3mm and 4mm, which the sales department considers nearing replacement, the service department operates under different standards and deems them satisfactory for now while approaching replacement consideration. It was then shared that the tires carry no tread-life warranty and that the road hazard warranty had already expired, as the coverage only lasted one year from the date of installation. Neither detail was disclosed prior to purchase. The coordination and communication between departments needs serious improvement. Given that this is a luxury dealership, the path to a solution should not involve this many detours simply to obtain basic clarification regarding purchased coverage and vehicle condition. This was my first BMW experience, and unfortunately it left much to be desired. More
