I have owned my car for a while now and always good about the service I get at this dealership. Their staff is very knowledgeable and professional. My service manager is John Strode and he is great. I would give BMW of Kansas City South part of the Hendrix automotive group a Zero if it would register. What a poorly run organization and terrible experience. I am in the process of relocating back to Kansas City after 25 years. I was looking to buy a new car today, specifically a BMW To put it in perspective, I went last Thursday afternoon and met with who appeared to be a knowledgeable and nice salesperson (Adrian Zaragoza). We spent about an hour together, but I had to get to the closing on my new home in Kansas City. I selected five cars to test drive today, four new and one used and we scheduled a time between 12:30 and 1:30. It’s not a massive drive for me to get to BMW Kansas City South, but it’s not close either. I received a confirming text this morning at 8:34 about the appointment which I immediately responded that I would be there. I showed up to be told that they decided to send the salesperson to offsite training earlier this morning. Nobody knew about the appointment and nobody was prepared. But they offered me a different salesperson, and I could start the process over. This after BMW confirming the appointment with me this morning. I was not happy. They brought out the sales manager, who acted like he didn’t know anything about the appointment even though I met him on Thursday afternoon, have his business card in my wallet, and he also confirmed the appointment on Thursday for this afternoon. His name is Justin Nicholas. After catching my breath and calming down, I agree to work with a new sales person only to be notified that the one used car that I had looked at, and it was to be ready to test drive, assuming it had not sold over the weekend, had not sold but had been lent out for the day. They were unsure what other cars I was there to test drive but would be happy to help me if I wanted to start looking at cars again. The new salesperson assigned to me went inside to try to sort things out, but at that point, I figured it was fruitless. They were clueless as to how to run a higher-class automobile dealership and I left. I have own BMWs for over 40 years and dealt with many dealerships across the United States and in other countries. Never have I seen one so poorly managed, I honestly cannot believe it is even part of the BMW family. I want to stress that the new salesperson is not to blame for this and I do not believe Adrian is to blame for this, although I have not heard from him regarding this mess up. More

Adrian still calls to insure we are happy with our new X5.BMW South is the only place needed to go to for your next purchase!! More

From the moment the tow truck brought it in they communicated the problems, what needs to be addressed, the severity of each item and then went to work to get it fixed! Everyone answered the phone every time we called or called us back immediately, then took the time to explain the process step by step! We are beyond grateful to have found Matt and his team! I would recommend BMW KC South any day, they have found a customer for life. Thank you for taking such good care of our daughter and making her feel so comfortable while away from home! If I could give you 10 stars I would!! More

For over a month I went back and forth working out a deal on a new 2025 m5 from this dealership. I worked out a deal on my trade and sent everything that was asked for and then planned a trip to get my new c on a new 2025 m5 from this dealership. Upon getting to the finance manager to purchase an extended warranty he asks for my drivers license. I had sent my state I.D a couple weeks prior and have a limited license so paperwork from the judge makes it legal. Mind you this is a cash deal w the trade, so legally proof of insurance is all that’s required, so I explained that the paperwork was in the truck but asked why it matters. They stated it’s their policy, so we went back and forth with different people and they went from stating I could show the paperwork, to putting my wife’s license on it, to telling me it would now have to be delivered if I wanted it. Therefore I drove over 6 hours, paid dog sitters, hotel, etc, and then was told I could not drive it home that day that it would be better if we parted ways. Communication could have solved all of this and saved the salesman, who was fantastic, and myself and family a lot of time. I told them I did not want the car and will never spend money on a bmw now ever probably because of the experience that we had. This was supposed to be an enjoyable and memorable experience that they completely ruined for me by belittling me, and taking away my ability to drive my new car home. Find you a dealership that takes accountability and backs their word. I was told what to bring to the dealership and I brought it, I abided by all laws and spend my hard earned dollars to be told, too bad? Horrible customer service and I will make sure all my friends with money avoid this dealership as well as any affiliates. More
