Extremely Disappointing and Concerning Experience – Altered Lease Terms Without Consent I am writing this review on behalf of my 78-year-old father, who recently attempted to lease a vehicle from BM Altered Lease Terms Without Consent I am writing this review on behalf of my 78-year-old father, who recently attempted to lease a vehicle from BMW of Las Vegas. What should have been a straightforward and exciting process for him turned into a deeply upsetting situation that has caused significant stress and concern for our family. My father, relying on the dealership’s guidance, agreed to specific lease terms: a $6,000 down payment (which he paid in full via credit card) and a monthly payment of $725. He was clear about what he could comfortably afford at his age and on a fixed income. Unfortunately, after he left the dealership, we discovered that the contract submitted to BMW Financial Services had been changed without his knowledge or consent. The submitted lease reflected a $9,600 down payment and monthly payments of $945.99 – substantial increases he never discussed, agreed to, or signed. This kind of alteration, especially involving a senior citizen who placed his trust in the dealership, is not only disappointing but deeply troubling. My father is now worried about potential financial harm and credit implications, and we are having to spend considerable time and effort trying to resolve an issue that should never have occurred. We had hoped BMW of Las Vegas would uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency, particularly when working with elderly customers who may be more vulnerable. Regrettably, this experience has fallen far short of that expectation. However, the dealership refused to take any immediate steps to correct this matter or to even reviews its processes to prevent similar situations in the future. No one – especially a senior citizen looking forward to a new vehicle – should have to go through this. I would caution others, particularly families with elderly loved ones, to proceed with extra caution and thoroughly verify all documents before leaving the dealership. More
