I was given a lot more money for my trade in than I was offered at Lexus and mercedes benze. I traded in a cl550 mercedes and have owned various other high end cars such as mercedes and lexus. I was given a tremendous price on my new 2012 650 convertable. Wow what an incredible car. BUT THAT IS A GIVEN WITH BMW. What has really turned me into a devoted Desert BMW guy is the people I had the pleasure of working with buying this car. This is not your typical luxury car dealer. They had only 1 concern and that was getting me into the exact car that I was looking for and not concerned at all with just seeing me walk out the door after making a sale. From the very first moment upon arriving there I was greeted with the most knowlegable,truly concerned with everything I wanted in a car team of consumate professionals I have ever met anywhere at any car dealer. I had allready visited 3 different BMW dealers to do some due diligence on the new BMW models. Wow was I ever surprised with the team they have at Desert BMW . The surprises just kept on comin as I spent some time there deciding on what new model I was going to buy. You do the math Best trade in price by a long shot, best price by a long shot on the car i chose,zero pressure and only concern with finding me the best fit for my needs,lower finance rate that even BMW offered. This team of dedicated professionals made me, spending alot of money feel like I was ordering a good steak at a fine restaurant, then telling me we have a nice surprise for you in every aspect of my purchase. All I can say at this point is thanks michael, larry, anthony,and crystal. I bought my new car and left knowing I have made some good friends as well. This doesnt happen at any other car dealer anywhere I have ever visited to buy 1 of the 15 or so new cars I have ever purchased in the past. This is the best dealership on the planet . Albert met me on entry to the dealership and asked questions that gave him the ability to help me quickly. He walked me throughout the lot to show me the units available and explained the technical te questions that gave him the ability to help me quickly. Then he walked back to get the key to the unit I had selected and pulled it out for a test drive. Albert spent the time explaining how the features worked and how to best utilize them. When we returned to the dealership, Albert then started searching for the best financing rates and got the manager to assist with what turned out to be the best interest rate I have ever been provided. Overall, this was the best car buying experence I have had. More
I will start by stating that this is the first letter I have ever written like this, and I feel you should know how valuable Butch Condon is to your company. My husbandand I have been living in Las Vegas have ever written like this, and I feel you should know how valuable Butch Condon is to your company. My husbandand I have been living in Las Vegas for 10 years. We started off with very little and have both worked extremely hard to accomplish the goals we set for ourselves. We have learned that when people work hard and do their job well, they should be commended. I often see that people who have the means to buy exceptional service assume that they are entitled to it whether or not it is deserved. When someone offers a service for the first time to a customer, that person really doesn’t know if he will be rewarded, so he has to take a chance that his effort will go unnoticed. I am writing this because I want you to know that even without knowing he would be recognized for his tremendous service, he gave it willingly. My husband and I both had Mercedes for since 2006. It would be and understatement to just flat out say I hate it there and will never own a Mercedes again. The car was ok but I literally would get angina thinking about having to deal with the service people. I would have to call the sales person who was a “friend of a friend” just to get any help at all. I would frequently leave there feeling like I spent a boatload of money on a car and resenting every hard-earned dollar wasted. I would get answers I think were prepared for doctors wives like “most people don’t put more than 40,000 miles on this kind of car and thats why there are all these issues. Would you like a shuttle ride in maybe an hour to your house because you probably have nothing better to do than wait around for us to act like jerks to you?” I bought a BMW in 2008. I just liked the car. I had a several serious issues initially (with the car) and stressed over each one thinking I was going to have to deal with similar kinds of service people like at the mercedes dealership. I was very wrong. I was lucky enough to have Butch as my service advisor and he just smiled and said I would never have to worry I can always call him if anything is wrong and he would fix it. Here is my cell phone and call me if you need anything. He set me up with loaner cars when he could. I slowly began to realize that I had bought a really nice car and could enjoy this car without the feeling that with all these fun things comes a lot of headache when they didn’t work. The point is that I have had a lot of different cars and been to a lot of different dealerships, but I have not ever felt gratitude or loyalty to any of them before. I would have assumed they are all just “ok” and I might as well just deal with mercedes because who is really better. But I have had such exceptional attention and care that I found myself bragging to random valet attendants that the BMW dealership is so easy to work with I will never have any other vehicle. I don’t even know how to open the hood and Butch knows it and caters to me and fills up my evaporated washer fluid whenever I need. I have had nothing less than stellar service and when my husband’s mercedes had a little “service needed soon” light come on, I walked right up to him and said, “you should get a big brand new car and by the way you are only allowed to get a BMW because I hate the mercedes place so much, and love the BMW place so much (and by that I mean Butch). I would rather get my husband a new car and deal with all of that then EVER have to go to Mercedes and be treated like some nuisance. So my husband is now the proud owner of a 750 Li and is extremely happy to be part of my BMW click. I have bragged so much he had no desire to go look at any other car. We both love the way our cars drive, look, and all the fun things that are in them. And thanks to Butch and the wonderful service he has provided, we are now permanent members of BMW. The service was slow and unorganized. They requested information before arrival, but it made no different, they took forever to process the paperwork. Once they have your $$$$ you are on your own. You call for follow up items, you leave multiple messages, but they will not call you back. In other words, unless you catch them live, you are wasting your time leaving a message. I would not recommend this dealership. More
Desert BNW sucks. I took my car to them after running over a large rock in the rock in the road which did $2500 damage to the undercarriage. After they repaired my vehicle, I begin to hear humming and whistling from the vehicle when I accelerate. I took the vehicle back the day after Thanksgiving at 7 am and was told that they would look at the vehicle but it would take some time because they still had vehicles from the day before Thanksgiving. I was told that I would receive a call to let me know what they find. Well, that call came at about 3 pm and I was told that they could not hear any noise coming from the vehicle and that I could come pick the vehicle up or leave it over night and they would check the vehicle again the next morning. I left the vehicle over night....what a waste of my time. I get a call about 9 am the next morning and was told that they still did not hear any noise coming from the vehicle, so out of frustration, I just told him to have the shuttle driver pick me up and I would come get my vehicle. Well, I finally get a call back from Desert BMW shortly after 12 noon asking for directions to pick me up (3 hours after they said the shuttle driver would come get me). When I got to the dealership and my car was brought out to me, as I am driving out of the parking lot I hear the noises that I brought the vehicle in for. I decided to not even bother to back up and let the service tech hear the noise because it was obvious that they had not even checked the vehicle which is not the first incident of this sort that I've had with them. I would not be doing business with them in the future and was seriously considering purchasing another BMW.....if I do, they would not have the pleasure of earning a dime from me. BMW of Austin TX could definitely teach these idiots some customer service. More
I had the best experience on my last visit to Desert BMW of Las Vegas. Butch was and is my service advisor and every time he doesn't let me down. He is so helpful and friendly... I don't even feel like I'm there for car maintenance. I am always greeted and assisted and leave feeling special and important with a great looking clean car! I LOVE MY BMW and the dealership and all the staff that make it such a great place to shop and visit. Butch is a great advisor and all the staff and management should be applauded for such a great job that they do on our cars. Danielle is by far my favorite Service Manager I have worked with in 14 years of doing business with BMW. She makes me feel comfortable and is a joy to hear and work with. She goes above and beyond for customer service. On my last visit she was kind enough to lend me her own personal vehicle to drive around for a couple hours.
