My only negative experience was buying a 4-year extended service contract on a 3-year-old car. I THOUGHT I was buying a plan to cover the car for the next 4 years. Well, it turned out that the plan was to cover the car FOR THE FIRST 4 YEARS since new, 3 years before I bought it! So I paid thousands of dollars, and received ONE OIL CHANGE, period. Buyer beware!
