I had satisfying offers from other dealerships, but they didn't have the color I wanted. So I visited here to see if they have the one for me, and Zari assisted me. She showed me some upgraded version, which I don't really care about. (leather seat, etc) It's ok if they don't have the one I was looking for, so I was gonna leave. But she started asking me about my financial status. I just moved to the city last week for a new job, and I am starting next month. She even asked me how much I make, so I told her my salary, but she continuously said to me that "So, you don't have any income this month. Our financial team would not approve you". What? First of all, I didn't want to buy from you. Second, I have excellent credit score/history, as well as a signed offer with a local tech firm with 6 figure salary (as does my husband), and we have funds available to pay with cash. Can't believe that I was treated as a jobless person. Also, she asked me if I have a valid visa, and what kind of visa I have, which nobody asked me before. Just because I am not a native speaker, she thinks I am a potentially illegal immigrant? It was very insulting, and a uniquely disgusting experience (I am a permanent resident by the way) Do not go there alone if you are an asian women. More
Zero customer service This review is for BMW of Mountain View, California. I have purchased two new BMW's at this dealership for background. I visited the dealership around This review is for BMW of Mountain View, California. I have purchased two new BMW's at this dealership for background. I visited the dealership around 1045 AM and didn't have an appointment and asked the receptionist to speak to a sales person. I waited 8 to 10 minutes and asked again. Another 8 to 10 goes by and still no salesperson. There were at least 3 people at there desks without customers and a couple at their desk with customers. I asked for the sales mangers card and left. I certainly understand how busy a dealership can get and I was not expecting instant service but I didn't expect to get zero service. The receptionist didn't seemed that concerned and never apologized for the delay or asked for my information so I could be contacted later. I left a VM for Lonnie Phillips and waited for 3 days but received no response. I then left a message for the general manager and nada after another 3 days. There is a phone on the wall next to reception which asks you to call the GM direct if you have any problems. I should have used that phone but judging from the response it probably was disconnected. Terrible customer service. The yelp and other reviews are right on about this dealership. I will go out of my to avoid doing business here and make sure all of my acquaintances hear of my experience. WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I'll begin by saying that I have been a loyal BMW customer for over 20 years. My dealership and service department over the years were Beverly Hills I'll begin by saying that I have been a loyal BMW customer for over 20 years. My dealership and service department over the years were Beverly Hills BMW--their service and customer care is stellar. I made a service appointment over a week ago with a request for a loaner/rental with BMW of Mountain View. I arrived this morning at my appointment time at 10 am and after waiting for 25 minutes, my service advisor Eric Loncarich showed up to inform me that although he can see that I had reserved a loaner, they had given them all away and had nothing available for me. He asked if I'd like to reschedule the appointment. I had taken the day off work to drop the car off and run errands that I normally cannot do. I have an extremely busy work schedule and to have planned this for my day was no small task. His lack of understanding and customer care deserves no stars. He did not even try to find a solution but rather just said that he will let his manager know. I left BMW of Mountain view dealership and called Steven's Creek BMW service. I explained the situation to them and they made an immediate appointment for me and told me to come straight over. Their attention to service and customer care was amazing. Come to find out, they are owned by Sonic, the same company that owns Beverly Hills BMW. They actually understand what excellent customer service means. I will no longer purchase or lease a BMW from BMW of Mountain View or service my car there. From now on I will take my business to an honest, considerate, and deserving business like Steven's Creek BMW in San Jose. They have a much larger service department and return your car faster and immaculately cleaned--unlike BMW of Mountain View. Avoid BMW of Mountain View, their service and customer care is sub-par. Rude sales person not interested in providing a test drive.. I was asked by my friend from San Francisco to test drive an i3 to give her a second opinion on the quality and feel of the car. I live around San Jos I was asked by my friend from San Francisco to test drive an i3 to give her a second opinion on the quality and feel of the car. I live around San Jose and happened to drive passed the Mountain View BMW dealership and dropped in midweek around 11am to ask for a test drive. The first comment from the rude sales lady was 'where's my commission in this?' - what an outrageous attitude and really doesn't represent BMW and it's dealership well! Will never recommend these guys or BMW to anyone I know based on this experience. More
Incomptent service I bought a 328i from BMW of Mountain View. The first time I went to replace the tires, the dealership quoted me a price double the amount quoted by America's Tires for the exact same tires (strike one). When I went to America's Tires to get the new tires installed, they discovered that the special wrench you need to remove BMW lug nuts was not in the car. (BMW has 20 or so different lug nut types that require a unique wrench that comes with the car and has a special spot in the trunk.) I went to BMW of Mountain View to get a replacement and after 7 weeks or going back and forth, including the service advisor telling me that I would have to buy it (what?? it should have come with the car YOU sold me! strike two), they tell me they can't replace it and they would have to spend 4 hours drilling out the old lug nuts and replacing them with a whole new set. (really? there is no master? strike three). I finally resolved the matter by going to Stevens Creek BMW who produced a matching wrench to my lug nuts (they used their master set to figure out which one it was) right from their parts department. It cost me $20 since I hadn't bought the car from them, but I was happy to pay it just to have the ability to get my tires replaced finally! It took 40 minutes for Stevens Creek BMW to solve a problem that BMW of Mountain View had already spent 7 weeks on and had not yet solved. I will never go back to BMW of Mountain View again - which is too bad for them given I have bought 2 BMW's from them in the past, and have a passion for them. Stevens Creek BMW, on the other hand, was courteous, knowledgable, and helpful. They will get my business from now on. More

My name is Andrew an My wife and I are interested in getting a beand new X3 cash without trade in. We set up an appointment for 7pm on Wednesday 6/3. My name is Andrew and they have my appointment data on records. Upon arrival, only a sales associate is available who keep on telling us she has two customers coming and has no time for us. After 45 minutes wondering around by ourselves, we left without anyone can really help us. I guess this dealership probably make a lot of money and no longer interested in any new customer. I told them I will try to get the car at BMW Fremont or Steven Creek even though it is slightly further for us. My advise: STAY AWAY from this BMW of Mountain View. More

Tricked into dealership sold new 5 series that didn't run! Sales manager Yong Zhao lied to me and said 535dx identical to my needs was being detailed and readied for purchase,We were assured smooth transaction Sales manager Yong Zhao lied to me and said 535dx identical to my needs was being detailed and readied for purchase,We were assured smooth transaction...We are from 6 hours away and had commitments following day so we needed to leave soon.During purchase process we were assured all was going well for several hours... 3hours into process we finally demanded to see and drive our car,Yong then admitted they were unable to start the car.We were then asked to get a hotel and the car would be ready early next day.i had to work next day so no choice but to leave my wife and start 6 hour drive home at 9:00pm!At noon the following day no one had called either of us so we called them and found that work was not even started.Obviously we demanded a refund as all faith was lost...They were I attentive and rude during the refunding process and claimed the G.M.Huck Hubbard was unavailable and they could not honor hotel reimbursement promise....We hand delivered notes to Mr Hubbard the receptionist and finance mgr. He never even bothered to call us. My poor wife had to buy a plane ticket to Los angles to catch another flight home....I have owned BMWs for 25 years and have perfect credit with a good grasp of the product line,Considering Audi after the beating these crooks tried to give me...BEWARE of Mountain View BMW... I asked for the part number and the OEM price for the part is $47! I am paying the $199, take my car and will never go back there again! More
We were lied to. We were sold a car illegally. I TOLD BMW that the airbag was missing after our independent inspection. Brian ASSURED ME that was not so ... the airbag WAS there. AFTER our check was ca BMW that the airbag was missing after our independent inspection. Brian ASSURED ME that was not so ... the airbag WAS there. AFTER our check was cashed ... suddenly the airbag was gone. AND with the airbag GONE ... BMW could not & would not release the car to us. We had to HOUND them for TWO months to get the airbag delivered and installed. I was told the part came in Thursday and was shipped on Friday. I tracked the FED EX # ... nothing. I called Fed Ex, nothing. I called the dealership ... Fed Ex has NO record of a shipment coming to me. MONDAY I was told that the part did NOT ship on Friday, but would be shipped that day. When I tracked it again ... it was being delivered to the wrong address. I had to have BMW intercept and put a hold on the part and pick it up myself at the Fed Ex depot. ALL through this we were called names, yelled at, Brian complained that he wasn't making any money on the deal, threatened by Brian that he would cancel the whole deal on us. Brian told us that he did NOT want to sell the car to us. We live out of state. Brian wanted a local buyer so the dealership could get continuous money in service from them. We bought Brian a gift card to a restaurant he mentioned that he like very much. We did not receive a thank you, no phone call to say he GOT the gift certificate. I called him and asked if he got it, Brian said "yes". And nothing else. This was THE worst experience we have ever had buying such an expensive and high end car. When we went to DMV to register the car in the state that we live ... there was NO sales contract in the pack of papers. NO form showing we paid for the car, that we PAID sales tax IN California, THE MOST important piece of paper, missing. It just never ended. More
