This is the second horrible experience I’ve had with the service department at BMW Mountain View, and it’s extremely disappointing. I received a call from the dealership saying I could bring my car in fo service department at BMW Mountain View, and it’s extremely disappointing. I received a call from the dealership saying I could bring my car in for free servicing and an oil top-up. I explicitly confirmed on the phone that this would be free, and they said yes. I also told them I planned to wait at the dealership, and they said the service would take about 1 to 1.5 hours, which seemed reasonable. When I arrived, the story suddenly changed. I was told it wasn’t actually free, and given a vague explanation that it was handled by “customer service” and not the service department. Instead, they immediately tried to sell me a 2-year service package, which I declined. I then asked them to simply do the oil top-up. At that point, I was told it would take more than 3 hours because it was lunchtime. When I asked for a loaner car, they said none were available. I asked to speak with a manager, and initially I was told to wait. After waiting, I was then told the manager wouldn’t arrive for quite some time, leaving no way to resolve the situation. At that point I had already wasted a couple of hours dealing with misinformation, upselling attempts, and poor communication, so I had no choice but to leave. Calling customers in with incorrect information about free service, changing the story once they arrive, and then leaving them without any resolution is extremely unprofessional. This is now the second bad experience I’ve had with this service department, and it seriously undermines trust in this dealership. More

But not today. My experience at BMW of Mountain View was a total game-changer. From start to finish, the process took only 3 hours—and that included finding the car, the test drive, detailing, and finance. I worked with three incredible individuals who made this the best car-buying experience of my life: The Dream Team Khaled Qwaider (Sales): Khaled made the entire experience seamless. He helped us find the exact Hybrid we were looking for, walked us through every feature, and handled the test drive perfectly. He even went above and beyond to track down a brand-new charging cable that was missing. His focus was entirely on our satisfaction. Sean Fakhrie (Manager): When we had a few deep-dive technical questions, Khaled brought in Sean. Just when I thought the service couldn't get better, Sean exceeded all expectations. He was incredibly knowledgeable and refreshingly honest; he pointed out a couple of minor, unfixable scratches and immediately provided factory touch-up paint to make it right. Alex Gonzalez (Finance): Usually, the finance office is where the clock stops. I told Alex we were on a time crunch for my wife’s birthday dinner. He promised to have us out in 20 minutes—he did it in 15. He was professional, efficient, and genuinely happy to be there, which made the final steps a breeze. The Verdict The "positive energy" flowing from these three was palpable. They remained upbeat, smiling, and transparent throughout the entire afternoon. If you are tired of the typical dealership headache and want to actually enjoy buying a BMW, go see Khaled, Sean, and Alex. I cannot recommend this team or this dealership more highly.
