Not to mention we felt no pressure from him whatsoever to make a purchase. We were in the market to purchase a car for my wife and she found a car or should I say “The car” she wanted. We agreed on a price and the next day we took ownership of our new car. While not a high pressure sales person, Basil instead, very professionally understands how to move a person to a sale, without over complicating the decision making process and without overt pressure. He excels at reading what his clients wants and needs are. And he is intelligent enough to let the transaction process percolate, allowing it to play out and the client to come to a positive decision, as was my case. I purchased my car as neared its lease end and BMW made the transaction more attractive by eliminating the final 3 months of lease payments, building in a loyalty discount, and lowering the price of the car to the point where it made sense for me to purchase it. I don't delude myself by thinking that the dealer did not make a profit, but the experience was pleasant enough and the afore mentioned financial incentives made the decision easier. More
