Bait and Switch alive and well at BMW of Sarasota Tried to negotiate a deal on a new SUV and after a few days reached an agreement. Went to pick up the car and as is standard operating procedure at this BMW dealer, we were told "we have some good news and some bad news". "Your car is all ready but the price is going to be $3000 higher due to expiring promotions", blah, blah, blah. This is the second time this had happened but since there was a new New Car Sales Manager in place I had hoped this practice had changed. Apparently it is a policy of the owners? The client advisor didn't even have the forethought to call us to let us know before we drove to the dealership. Steer clear of BMW of Sarasota. Scammers! More

Lots of people and activity but no real servicel This 3rd service appointment scheduled at 7:15 took over 3 hours to fix what wasn't completed at the previous appointment a month ago . That appointment took over 2 hours and as I left the dealership at closing the service engine light was on which is why I returned. The original appointment was to replace a part which needed to be ordered and check over the car. although the check engine light was on at the time I was told they didn't see that and rather than wait I. Chose to return when the part was in. I've never experienced such a level of disregard for time. I will never return nor would I ever recommend this dealership. I have owned l BMW's and in the past have had nothing but prompt, efficient service. More

Great experiance!! I lost my BMW key in Valdosta Ga and had to rent a car to finish my trip to Manasota Key.
