I was told that I could pick up the car the next day, but I made the trip for nothing. It wasn’t finished and I had to come back a day later. Worst customer service and personal treatment I have received yet from any dealership. I called Robert (manager) today to resolve a very simple issue. He was not helpful and provided no resolution for m received yet from any dealership. I called Robert (manager) today to resolve a very simple issue. He was not helpful and provided no resolution for me even though BMW Sarasota is the responsible party. One of the service advisors acknowledged they had and would send my personal property (license plate) to me or hold it for pickup. They did not follow through. Instead, the vehicle was picked up by the salvage company. Both the tow company and the salvage company have photo proof on their ends that the car arrived to the dealership with a plate and was picked up without a plate. BMW Sarasota also made this acknowledgment when I went to pick up my personal property. All I wanted was my plate back OR to be compensated via a discount of that amount for my new vehicle (another BMW). Robert talked over me and down to me during the conversation, saying he wasn't paying for anything, and added that I should simply give it up, pay the extra few hundreds for new plates, enjoy my car and forget the issue. Well, this isn't my only issue with BMW Sarasota. In 2022 I ordered a new 4 series. When the car arrived it was absolutely not as I had ordered it. I was told after waiting for a few months that if I wasn't willing to take the car as is they would have no problem selling it. I was never told the car would not arrive as I ordered it. I was never asked or given any other options. Never heard I'm sorry, we take responsibility, we will correct the problem, your business is important to us or we don't want to lose you as a customer... Nothing ever of the sort. It's hard to believe your dealership has the same vehicles as hundreds of others yet absolutely NONE of the customer service! Zero caring or customer service at this dealership and they treat their customers like absolute crap. Its hard to believe this is all worth their reputation, integrity and a few hundred dollars, especially when they are responsible. Pathetic treatment and service... twice now in just 2 years. Stay away! There's another BMW dealer within 25 miles and you will thank yourself later when you don't have to deal with guys like this. If this is how the management and leaders are acting, imagine the lack of support you're going to get when an issue arises. More
