This was my first visit to BMW of Sarasota for service. Was told ~2hrs for service that took ~3hrs to complete; I'm guessing they were short staffed. Rafael, the service manager, even offered to wash the car himself to complete the serivce. Price was a little high on standard parts and labor but nothing outrageous. Very pleased with the overview video of what was performed. Great experience all-in-all! More

Had my car inspected there and got a quote for repairs for $8000. Then got a quote from another reputable car repair place in town, using the same BMW parts, and certified master BMW technicians, for 50% for $8000. Then got a quote from another reputable car repair place in town, using the same BMW parts, and certified master BMW technicians, for 50% less. $4000. So your prices are literally double the competition. That’s outrageous. Then I had some bodywork done there and a detail as well. Bodywork turned out pretty well, but the detail guys left major parts of my car untouched including not cleaning the grill, dead bugs off the back of my car after it was shipped , inside the glove box, etc. I advised my service rep that getting the front carpets cleaned was top priority and they left a band of dirty carpet on the top on one side. Plus I requested that they return my toll pass that they were removing from my windshield and apparently they just threw it away when it still had money on it. Also half the time nobody answers the phone there. Very frustrating. I will not be bringing my car back for a detail or any non warranty or recall servicing. We own two BMWs, but my husband won’t go there now either. More
