I had already been to another Raleigh BMW dealership to look at the X3s and received a 'glossy X3 brochure',looked at a few X3s they had on the lot, left my name and picked up a business card from a salesm look at the X3s and received a 'glossy X3 brochure',looked at a few X3s they had on the lot, left my name and picked up a business card from a salesman. I never got a fpllow up call from that dealership. I came home that same day and did an Edmunds 'build a car' to get the price and True Market Value of the X3- and then requested a dealer quote. I got a call from Performance BMW within 5 mins of clicking the button! They had a car on the lot very close to what I had configured and asked if I'd come to look at. I made an appointment the next day and bought the car. The experience that I had at Performance BMW in Chapel Hill was by far the best experience that I've had when buying a car. Everyone that I worked with was professional and customer focused. More
Fast, courteous service says it in a nutshell. They always tell me the price before starting the reparis. Once authorized the repairs are done within the time frame they told me. There is never any pressure to have maintence work done unless they feel there is a safety issue ie when I went in to have a lighter repaired and they discovered a leaking power steering hose All the other work that was needed as a result of 7 years in another state dealing with a not so reputable dealer was scheduled at my convenience. One example of Performance putting the customer first was was when I went in for an oil change and discovered it was time for a major inspection. They said I could do it then or later. I opted to have it done anticipating sitting in their lounge with a book. Instead, without me asking they arranged for a loaner car so I would not have to wait and could go about my day as previously planned. More

Maintenance on my 2011 535ix. Great, courteous service, recommended tire rotation to extend tire length. Just picked up our family's 4th & 5th BMW's from Performance in Chapel Hill. Yes, they are GREAT driving machines as the ads say, but there are 4 reasons why we drove over 30 minutes instead of hitt Performance in Chapel Hill. Yes, they are GREAT driving machines as the ads say, but there are 4 reasons why we drove over 30 minutes instead of hitting dealerships that surround us just a few miles away. Gerald Ramoin, Tim Blancett, Bob French and Jon Hilliard. Gerald keeps his hands on the day to day business and is a great communicator, Tim makes deals work and with a positive demeanor every step of the way, Bob is the first finance manager I have worked with that actually makes the admin side of buying a car EASY. And Jon Hilliard? A pleasure to work with, personally and professionally. He not only put us in cars that we love, he helped make the experience fun AND he engineered birthday surprises for our girls that they will never forget. The TEAM at Performance are the best. More
I brought my car in for a check on one of its features and also minor body repair. Although I had to use two different reps because of the two different service needs, the entire visit was well-coordinate and also minor body repair. Although I had to use two different reps because of the two different service needs, the entire visit was well-coordinate by the two of them and I was kept informed throughout. I got a primo loaner car (my car was there 6 days), courteous service and explanations for additional service needs. Many of those were under warranty but I did need two new tires. All was explained well and service was completed on time. My car is a performance car and I'm a novice so I really appreciate Performance BMW's attention to orienting the customer to what's going on. More

I would highly recommend Performance BMW and our salesman, Brad Wilson. Brad took the time to explain many features of the X3 and how to operate them before he took my husband and me for a test driv salesman, Brad Wilson. We were fairly sure we wanted the X3, but never felt any pressure to make a decision from Brad or any of the other team members. We were offered a fair trade in for my car and sealed the deal that day. Brad encouraged us to do the Performance Center Delivery program and we will pick up my new 2013 X3 this Wednesday. My husband and I found everyone to be friendly, courteous and delightful to work with. We live in Raleigh and have a BMW dealership not far from our home, but we chose to drive 20 miles to Performance BMW because they are that good and more!! More
