In January 2022 I began searching for my next BMW vehicle. After seeing the BMW 5 (Xdrive45e) in front of me at a stop light, I started researching and building out my dream car online. Under a tight deadline with changing jobs and the loss of our fleet car, I submitted my request online and was partnered with Jonathan of BMW Hendrick Southpoint in Durham, NC. From our first meeting Jonathan was able to take what I had put together online and provide more detailed information about the packages, options, in addition to showing all the finishes in person. He was honest and upfront about the lead-time without being pushy, made me aware of deadlines for financing specials and order submission for the best chance of receiving the vehicle in our needed timeframe. Based on demand for all BMW, especially EV’s, I was aware from the beginning the likelihood of test driving the actual model would be unlikely. I was pleasantly surprised within a few days after meeting Jonathan with a call saying that the dealership was receiving a X5 EV and I would have the opportunity to test drive. I greatly appreciated the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of Jonathan to notify me of arrival. That test drive helped to confirm the decision to order the vehicle. Johnathan made the pre-financing and official order submission a breeze. Additionally, he went above and beyond to keep me updated on my place in the que, on the assembly line, and ship dates. With the ship date confirmed, Johnathan arranged the final financial appointment, reviewed the details of the car without it being overwhelming, invited me to return for a more in-depth tutorial, and followed up days later to ensure I was enjoying my new car. This makes my 5th BMW purchase, my second X5 purchase, and my first BMW EV purchase. Jonathan was knowledgeable, attentive, and responsive while remaining authentic, easy-going, and not pushy. I personally look for the latter of those qualities when making a large purchase and I am happy to say that Jonathan went above and beyond with my experience. More
I cannot say enough about Pat and her team including Jen and Jeffrey Snow who helped me at my recent visit. He is well versed in all the various extended warranty options and helped me sort through the best combination for my particular needs. Picked up my first new BMW (525i with a manual transmission--oh those were the days) in 1992....and here I am 30 years later doing the same thing. Hard to stop smiling I love my new X-6 so much. Southpoint BMW is a wonderful place--so grateful that this organization is in our area. Thank you guys! P.S. Southpoint is the best dealer I've ever worked with in my 50 years of owning cars, and my *9* BMWs. The SALES process and team is 2nd to none - helpful, attentive, they actually listen to what you need and 50 years of owning cars, and my *9* BMWs. The SALES process and team is 2nd to none - helpful, attentive, they actually listen to what you need and desire, and then make it happen; they also keep paying attention AFTER the sale is complete. Ed Hagen is golden. The SERVICE team is expert, diligent, and don't stop until any issues (usually nits) are resolved and we are completely satisfied. Pat, Jeff, Anthony, Nate and others are also golden. Jonathan was fabulous with the actual purchases. Finally, the amazing attitudes flow from the top: the GM Curtis is the best. He bent WAY over backwards to help us with the purchase after we had a family catastrophe. Wonderful! Truly, the only reason why Southpoint is only getting a 5 is because there is no 6! More
