The service manager wouldn't listen. We had multiple problems with our 2010 X5 and the service manager, Bob Bailey, would not listen to what I was telling him about the problems. He just We had multiple problems with our 2010 X5 and the service manager, Bob Bailey, would not listen to what I was telling him about the problems. He just wanted to find ways to blame us for the car's mechanical problems. For example: The car was shifting itself into park after moving a few feet. He said we were trying to drive with the door open. Then he said we were holding in the release button. Then he said he could not diagnose the problem because it was not presenting at that time. Finally, he actually checked the car and found a code stored in the on-board computer that told him the button was sticking. The A/C was not working and I had to have them assess the car three times before they even looked at that. He kept saying I told him the A/C was fine - just the opposite of what I was telling him but he wasn't listening. Unless you are under warranty, I'd suggest you try a place that actually listens to what the customer is saying about their vehicle. More
