AVOID I had a miserable experience with Sales Associate Matt Tillman and GM David Comfort trying to buy a used I8 that I drove 67 miles to see from MD with I had a miserable experience with Sales Associate Matt Tillman and GM David Comfort trying to buy a used I8 that I drove 67 miles to see from MD with an appointment and they sold it to someone else when I was two miles away. My wife left work early that day and we drove in the pouring rain. All day long the sales associate texted me to tell me they were getting my car ready for me. He would later say that he asked me to put a deposit down and I refused. That never happened. In addition they knew I was coming from out of state driving through rush hour traffic to get there. GM tells me that is the nature of the used car business and that the other customer had an appointment before mine. Why wouldn't they let me know there was another appointment? I would have stayed home and come another day if that person didn't want the car. The sales associate claimed the other customer just walked off the street and bought it. Do you believe the associate or the GM??? The dealership said that they would make it up to me by giving me GM VIP pricing on a new car and the offer they gave me was $2000 higher than what I could get at any dealer here. AVOID dealing with this dealership. More
Dont bother leaving your car there for Service or ANYTHING very upset with the service, this is the second time they have done this.... I was having problem with my car i am leasing from BMW Sterling so I drop very upset with the service, this is the second time they have done this.... I was having problem with my car i am leasing from BMW Sterling so I dropped it off on my way to work- I was told it will take an hour two max- I said ok as long as its before i finish work. 5 hours later I am ringing to find out whats going on and I am told they are working on it; 8 hours later I am ringing again - finally I am told its done- I have my husband drop me off; as I am driving out the same issue pops up- I take it back in and I am waiting yet again for another hours whilst there is back and forth- Finally I am told they will order a part and let me know when that comes in. So after couple of weeks when I finally get the call that the part has arrived I drop my car off before work and again I am told it will be ready in an hour or two- I am currently writing this review after almost 8HOURS...and on hold for past 10 minutes after getting told it will take another hour ! So i am stuck at work unable to go home! This is ridiculous....BE HONEST if you will take a whole day LET YOUR CUSTOMERS KNOW!!! AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST- very upset right now!!! More

Elijah and BMW Sterling are awesome I recently had my M3 serviced at BMW of Sterling, and I was blown away by the service. I have always avoided dealerships at all costs, but when my car I recently had my M3 serviced at BMW of Sterling, and I was blown away by the service. I have always avoided dealerships at all costs, but when my car developed a serious fuel leak, my usual shop wouldn't touch it. Elijah was totally up front about all work and costs, and even walked me back to the shop to see the issue on the car with the technician. Prices were on par or cheaper than my usual shop! I've never had dealer service like this. This experience actually changed my long tradition of having my car serviced only by my trusted aftermarket shop. Thanks guys! More

For better or worse, service is a key component of the overall experience of car ownership. A great car with terrible service is a real contradiction, but sadly, common. I'm delighted to say that the service provided primarily by Sean Spicher has been exceptional, creating a level of satisfaction I have rarely enjoyed in other car brands. I have an older ( 2014) 550i M-Sport and the engine has required a greater degree of care over the last year. In this latest phase, as in all prior, Sean has been incredibly decisive, flexible, informative, respectful, and humorous where appropriate in my dealings with him. Sean's quality as a BMW rep will have a strong bearing on whether my next car is a BMW. More
