Cris, We addressed your concern before, during and after the sales on these issues stated. As the main concerns were the filters at the time of sale, we did discount the car accordingly so you could have them done after you took possession of the vehicle. The brake fluid flush, the 12v battery and the suspension noises were never addressed after the sale as you did reach out with all of your concerns, and these were not included but we did send over a copy of the repair order and multi point inspection when you did reach out after the sale. The multipoint inspection showed that we did all the recommended work that our service department recommended on this used vehicle to get it sale ready. All of the areas that we checked during our inspection process which included the filters, all fluids (including brake fluid), cooling and heating systems, suspension and shock absorbers as well as all wear and tear items which were all acceptable at the time of sale according to NH state inspection standards. Andrew, I'm writing in response to your public reply regarding the issues I've encountered with the Tesla Model S I purchased from BMW of Stratham. I am extremely disappointed that I've had to pay an additional $1,410.24 out-of-pocket for repairs after owning the car for only one month. While I appreciate your acknowledgment of the filter concerns and the corresponding discount, several other significant issues arose that, in my opinion, should have been identified during your pre-sale inspection. Specifically, the 12V auxiliary battery failed shortly after purchase. The repair notes on my Tesla invoice state that offboard diagnostics indicated the battery was nearing the end of its lifespan, and proactive replacement was performed. This suggests the battery's condition was detectable and should have been caught by a thorough inspection. Furthermore, the invoice details significant work done on the suspension due to a clicking noise during acceleration and deceleration caused by insufficient lubrication in the half shafts, both front and rear. This repair alone cost $760.44. It's concerning that such a noticeable mechanical issue was not identified and addressed prior to sale, especially given your statement that the suspension and shock absorbers were "all acceptable at the time of sale according to NH state inspection standards." In total, the repairs performed by Tesla on May 28, 2025, included: Brake Fluid Check: $20.50 Cabin Air Filter Replacement: $58.60 HEPA Filter Replacement: $344.20 Proactive Low Voltage Battery Service: $226.50 Addressing Noise & Vibration (halfshaft lubrication): $760.44 Automated Tire Pressure Check and Adjustment: $0.00 The total amount paid was $1,410.24. I understand I purchased the car "as-is" and take full responsibility for that decision, having trusted your process. However, the unexpected and substantial costs so soon after purchase are disheartening, especially considering I traded in a very clean, certified BMW that you were able to easily re-sell. I will privately send you a copy of the full Tesla invoice (Invoice Number: 3000S0013256888, dated May 28, 2025). I would appreciate it if you could review it and consider what you believe would be a fair way to help me with these unexpected expenses. I am confident that some of these issues, particularly the failing 12V battery and the suspension noise, should have been identified during your pre-sale inspection.
