DGrady, I am so sorry about the experience you had at our dealership. We try our hardest to satisfy all our customers but obviously we dropped the ball in your case. We did do the mailer with an outside company because we were and are looking to purchase inventory for our lot. Unfortunatly they did a blanket mailer to our customer base and did not filter out the cars we do not do well with. Your car as nice as it was does not fit in to our category for the time of year(February. We certainly did not mean to insult you in any way or waste your time. But our store is on a strict 60 day turn of used cars and we felt that we would not be able to sell your car within that window. Yes our sales people do try to sell cars to people who are selling us their vehicle. It is a very low pressure presentation. We would be doing the customer and ourselves injustice if we did not showcase our products. Many of our clients are not aware of the changes in the new BMWs. Most people selling their car are looking for a replacement and we would love to and try to earn their business. I am very happy that you found another dealer who could give you an acceptable offer on your car. We try to be fair with our appraisels but the value of a car comes down in the end to the opinion of the appraisor guided by various books and the stores experience with that particular model. Again I apologize that we could not satisfy your needs. We take great pride in the fact that we are the only dealer in New Hampshire and Maine to ever win BMW'S Center of Excellence award(3 times) which is primarily based on Customer Satisfaction. All that matters is we did not satisfy your needs. I hope that in the future we can earn your trust and loyalty back. Please contact me direct if I ever can be assitance to you.
