Regrettably have to change my initial assessment. It is now four weeks since I received the new car and gave my old car to the dealership. As of yet, they have not given me the check for the old car. I own a 2011 BMW 328i and received a recall notification that cited that I need to schedule service at a BMW dealership to have the problem fixed. I contacted BMW of Tampa (formally known as Reeves Motospo that cited that I need to schedule service at a BMW dealership to have the problem fixed. I contacted BMW of Tampa (formally known as Reeves Motosports) to schedule the service on Tuesday, 11 Apr 2023. While there for the service, I also scheduled an oil and oil filter change. The day after (12 Apr 2023), my driver's side front door would not lock or unlock. All other doors functioned normally, just the driver's front door would not work. I contacted the service advisor, Danny Sarmiento, that handled my recall and oil/oil filter change to have this problem corrected. He said that they'd have to run a diagnostic to identify the problem and that it would cost me $275.00. I told him that the door functioned properly prior to their service. However, he still insisted that I'd need to pay the $275.00 diagnostic fee. I then stated that, "It was unacceptable because the door functioned properly before they serviced my vehicle. After about three go rounds with the service representative, Danny Sarmiento, I lost all trust with BMW of Tampa (formally Reeves Motorsports) and finally gave up. If I'm going to have to pay additional money for something that was obviously due to the service they provided, I'll take my business elsewhere. I cannot believe that a business of that size would try to nickel and dime me for an additional $275.00. I hope that other BMW owners see my post and think twice before taking their vehicles to BMW of Tampa (formally Reeves Motorsports), or give their vehicles a more than thorough walkthrough before taking their vehicles home after receiving service there. I am honestly saddened by this experience and still can't believe that this company can't make this right. More
