When I realized the tag holder I purchased only came with one instead of two, they offered a complimentary second one—no hassle at all. They even installed the tag holders for me and sent me off with a fresh car wash. They didn’t have to do any of that, but those thoughtful touches made all the difference. I've purchased over 25 vehicles in the past and BMW in Towson was the worst experience I have ever had. In October, we purchased a 25 BMW 240I. The inexperienced car salesman left us waiting for hours a Towson was the worst experience I have ever had. In October, we purchased a 25 BMW 240I. The inexperienced car salesman left us waiting for hours and hours in the showroom due to finance being backed up and his inexperience. He had no idea their inventory- he was ordering a vehicle for us when he had the same car on the lot that we found after doing our own research. We were not shown any features on the vehicle, the paperwork was done incorrectly and we had to go back the following week to finance to re-sign the paperwork. Also, we were asked not to complete a negative survey review by the sales team. The dealership was empty, no manger in sight. The whole experience was unprofessional and disappointing. Fast forward to a few months later when the vehicle was damaged needing a new passenger mirror. The vehicle has been in repair at BMW for 2.5 months being held up without the part. We are paying $800 a month for a new car that we do not have and are driving a Hyundai rental car with no end in sight. I've been told that the part # has changed a couple of times, it's hung up in customs, perhaps my insurance company can find a part at a junk yard. In addition, to receiving a call and email that my BUMPER is coming when in fact it is a mirror being replaced. I have asked for a vehicle buy back or trade in or I've asked for a mirror from another identical car. I have also asked to order the same mirror but with a different part # that shows in stock online at BMW. Every suggestion that I make, the response is a NO, WE CANT DO THAT. This has been a complete nightmare with no end in sight! More
