I’ve owned BMWs for years and have always gone to BMW of Tyler for my annual maintenance, where I’ve consistently had positive experiences. This year, I decided to purchase a used vehicle from them because Tyler for my annual maintenance, where I’ve consistently had positive experiences. This year, I decided to purchase a used vehicle from them because I trusted the dealership and expected a higher standard than I would from a private seller or a smaller used car lot. However, just two weeks after buying the car, I brought it in for maintenance and was given a list of broken items that needed repair, along with brake replacements totaling nearly $2,000. What was especially disappointing was learning that the vehicle apparently had not been thoroughly inspected or even physically cleaned inside before it was sold and because it wasn’t “BMW Certified” that that’s normal to not be inspected. I understood I was buying a used car, not a new one, but I certainly did not expect to be facing immediate repairs for issues that should have been identified beforehand. Had I known that the vehicle would receive no inspection or preparation before sale, I could have had the same experience buying from Facebook Marketplace or a local used car lot. I chose BMW of Tyler because I expected more from a BMW dealership, and this experience has been extremely disappointing. More

Yes, I didn’t have the best of experiences the night of delivery. Things could’ve been handled differently on both ends. At the end I love the car and I’m happy with the deal. Came to this place on December 11th 2024 for a gas cover gasket issue! Total was 2,500 didn’t even last a week! Turns out they left the cover off! Then took it back to the place left it there for 3 weeks di gasket issue! Total was 2,500 didn’t even last a week! Turns out they left the cover off! Then took it back to the place left it there for 3 weeks didn’t receive a rental car! Got the car back January 10th 2025. Car broke down February 13th 2025 motor is destroyed! No good customer service! They messed my vehicle up! Probably will have to get a new vehicle! Called them and they didn’t even tell me that there was metal shavings in my oil when they did the oil change! NEVER COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS! DON’T TAKE TOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! More

I took my X3 in for service today and this was the second time Cooper Smith has helped me. He is, by far, the most helpful, honest and down-to-earth person I have ever dealt with in my 34 years of having ma time Cooper Smith has helped me. Live in St Louis. Was traveling to College Station on May 26 and lost rear tire on my X3. Was able to get to dealership about 450 pm. Was met at door by Cooper Smith Was traveling to College Station on May 26 and lost rear tire on my X3. Was able to get to dealership about 450 pm. Was met at door by Cooper Smith. He was super helpful and fortunately had tires and he got us right in. He kept up updated and we were back on the road by 6 pm. Being out of state was great relief to be treated so well ! More
I purchased a pre owned vehicle, and Michael made the process seamless. He was helpful with showing me what we needed to see over the phone as I don’t live very close, and once I got there he was attenti process seamless.
