Terrible Service We scheduled service at this dealership out of convenience. My wife dropped the car off for its 10,000 mile service and requested a tire rotation at t We scheduled service at this dealership out of convenience. My wife dropped the car off for its 10,000 mile service and requested a tire rotation at the same time. It was explained to her that "BMWs don't need to have their tires rotated because it was an all wheel drive car. At that moment, my wife knew something was wrong. She questioned the tech about it and he tells her that BMW doesn't rotate tires. It left me in query because I have owned all wheel drive cars for a long time and have always rotated the tires unless the vehicle ran staggered tires. I called to speak to the tech who was assigned to her car and wound up speaking with Meg who was quick to try and resolve the situation around not rotating the tires. All in all, I got in touch with the tech who gave my wife the wrong information and he tried to tell me that my wife may have misunderstood the conversation. Howard said that he told her that it was not a service that BMW performs which was not true. Howard should have taken the time to explain how it works by saying that it is not something that is part of the 10,000 mile service, but for $40 we can perform this service for you. That was never explained to her. There was also a software upgrade to be performed on the vehicle which was not explained that it was going to take the better part of the day to perform. My wife was stranded st her office for most of the day when she finally decided that enough was enough and phoned Howard at 4:30 and asked for the car. He arranged for her car to be brought to her place of business which was less than 10 minutes away. My wife did not receive her car until 5:45 that evening stranding her without a car. It may have been better to ask if that day was the most convenient time to perform the upgrade. Total case of under promise and under deliver at Hoffman. We have been the victims of three disappointing experiences at this place. This is our first experience with a BMW and question if we will buy another one. I was always under the impression that when you. It the car you buy a level of service as well. Total disappointment. Mercedes Benz never gives me this level of service. I will not return to this dealership for another lousy customer experience. More
