Excellent Experience! I made an appointment to test drive the car and someone else came in and wanted to test drive it before my appointment. Buyer Beware at Bachman. Twice we have bought vehicles from Bachman only to be saddled with an extended warranty we specifically told them we didn't want. My wife told the finance person we did not want the extended warranty but it was added to the total anyway. When it noticed it on the sales slip, she called the dealership but could get no response. It's only when she filled out a survey and sent to Subaru of America that the warranty was taken off our bill. My daughter wasn't as lucky at Bachman Volkswagon. We planned to pay cash for the vehicle but were told that in order to get the sale price we had to sign up for financing. The finance manager assured my daughter and me that we would not have to pay for the extended warranty and that it would be taken off the total price once we made our first payment. Didn't happen. We have disputed the charge for almost four years with no response from the dealership. Yesterday. Volkswagon Credit, with no warning whatsoever, showed up at my daughters house and repossessed the car. Then they gave us the runaround all day even after we had paid the balance they said we owe, so she barely got to the credit company in time to get her car that day. We will probably engage a lawyer to get the balance back on the warranty we didn't want, and compensation for a lost day of work and child care we had to pay for. If you're going to deal with Bachman, insist on paying cash unless you specifically want the extended warranty, which by the way, every consumer organization I've encountered said those are a waste of money. Buyer Beware at Bachman. More
