I do apologize for your unsatisfactory experience at our store. We do price our Budget Cars to sell quickly! We put these cars through a very thorough check to make sure they are safe and will pass Pennsylvania State Inspection. We look at over 50 cars a week and most of them do not make and meet our guidelines. We do provide a Carfax with every car we sell. Most of our cars are One Owners but we do have some with two or three owners. Any car with structural or frame damage we do not keep. Tom told me that the reason why you had to pay the extra $59.00 was due to the expiration of the plate you had brought in. Good Afternoon Scott: Believe it or not, I want to thank you for the feedback about your experience at our Cadillac franchise. All reviews, both positive and negative, that we receive have merit, and we do our best to learn from each of them. You raise several valid points in your comments. First, the people with whom you interacted, either on the internet or directly, should have located your desired vehicle before saying it was on the lot. Our team took a shortcut in this instance, and this lack of effort started our issues. I feel that had the desired vehicle been on the lot when you first arrived, the process would have gone much smoother. Secondly, our store as well as many other Cadillac stores in the area maintain a fleet of Courtesy Transportation Vehicles. This fleet is kept in service for a set period of time, and once the time or mileage is reached, these untitled (and therefore new) vehicles are offered for sale. We often find that people like the added savings available for these units. I completely agree that we could have done a better job of communicating that your desired vehicle fell into this category, and I apologize. We are exploring a way to separate these vehicles on our website so that a consumer sees the distinction as a result of this interaction. Thirdly, our sales associate did not come across in a manner that I expect from our staff, especially at Cadillac. It is unacceptable and has been addressed. I must disagree with your comment concerning the $50.00 gift card. Thehotelcard.com is a legitimate instrument that can be used at a variety of locations across the country. Is it as flexible as a card from American Express? No, but the value is still real. If that somehow bothers you, then I appreciate your input. We might explore different options for consumer incentives if enough people express the same type of view. I know that our staff has tried to communicate with you regarding your experience.
