Tried to buy local. Was looking to purchase a 15 Crosstrek for my daughter.Had a trade of a 12 suzuki gan vitara,,lil rough on condition..was givin a $11000 trade voucher Was looking to purchase a 15 Crosstrek for my daughter.Had a trade of a 12 suzuki gan vitara,,lil rough on condition..was givin a $11000 trade voucher from autotrader instant trade in...Vhe had 26500miles...Went to Baierl to get accurate trade # on Suzuki,told Jay,,amt of instant trade offer...They were very busy on a Sat afternoon,,,,and I guess used vhe mgr DID NOT have the time to give me honest trade appraisal... Jay went to computer to give me his own trade # which was $5000 and an ADDED BONUS of a $1000.. WOW...Now granted again the trade vhe was a little rough,and I wasnt really expecting Baierl to honor orig autotrader trade allowance... This is a 3yr old vhe w under 30k miles and I was completely insulted by Jays trade #!!!!! Pretty xxxx poor that Jay let the computer dictate a starting point for a purchase that I was willing to make that day..(Check Book in hand).Left a real bad taste in my mouth..I live 5mins from this dealership and WANTED to purchase here..Needlless to say I walked out of dealership completely insulted....I was also trying to be realistic w trade vhe,,which,I was..I guess I wasnt important enough to get a honest appraisal? I have purchased vhes off of the Baierl dealerships in the past w rarely a problem,,,and I have always respected the Baierl family name for their contributions to local community... My wife and I recently purchased a Subaru,and Mazda vhe 2mths ago from Kenny Ross,,,,which I returned to 2days after visiting Baierl... Made deal on New Crosstrek w $10000 trade allowance,,,and, $400 under what Baierl was quoting as buy price on internet!!!!! Shame I couldnt buy in my own backyard,,,but Baierl will get warranty work and NO more.... Guess Im that .01%???? Pissed in Mcandless ...
