Anyone but James My experience with Baker Nissan was amazing for the most part. Eugene was an absolutely amazing salesman. He was not pushy at all, he was very patient with me, and did not give me flack for having a set budget that I was very strict about. We test drove quite a few cars and again, he was bery pleasant about the whole thing. My only complaint with Baker Nissan is one guy at the financing department, James Thompson. I understand that when is almost closing time you are ready to go home, but when you are dealing with a transaction that is thousands of dollars, you might not want to be such an a**hole. He rushed all of my paperwork and lied to me about an extended warranty stating that it was included in the purchase beacuse of a Memorial day promo. That ended up being a LIE! He also said becasue it was so late I would have to pick up my paperwork the next day (I live 25 miles away). I came back the next day, and sure enough he wasn't there, it was his scheduled day off. One of the sales managers offered to overnight it for me, ok I'll take it. One week later, still no paperwork. So I make yet another trip over and he left the paperwork with the receptionist. After reviewing everything I realized the extended warranty he slipped in cost over $2200!!! that I NEVER agreed to. When I went up to the desk and asked to speak to James I was told to wait a moment, after the guy exchanged whipsers on the phone, I was told to take a seat I would be helped in a moment. I was then greeted by a different finance guy. He said James was not there, after explaining the situation to him he was able to cancel the warranty for me. After finshing up, I was walked downstairs and miraculously James was hiding out by the front desk and after he spotted me he turned around and kept his back to me until I left. Overall my experience before financing was absolutely amazing, I just dont recommend James he is inpatient and sneaky. More
