I decided to check out the new cars sincE the service bill was going to be high and I was tired of dumping $$ into worn out cars. John Hill in sales showed me all the alternatives, and it was a quick decision for me to get a new Armada, not the most loaded one, but the one that met my needs and preferences. They made a good deal with my two 2006 tradeins, and paperwork was relatively brief. I drove out with a new car in just a few hours. When I returned the next day with the old titles, they were nice enough to knock 2/3''s off the repair to which I had committed! More

Dishonest and Disrepectful Baker Nissan was my first stop in looking at a new-to-me Rogue to purchase, after having searched all available options with my desired feature set wi Baker Nissan was my first stop in looking at a new-to-me Rogue to purchase, after having searched all available options with my desired feature set within a 500 mile radius. Baker was the only one with a 2017 model with the features I was interested in, and while the price was a little above my budget, I figured it was worth looking at anyway. The person I'd made my appointment with, Patty, was actually on vacation, so I was handed over to Ruben instead. When he introduced himself, I didn't understand anything he said at first. It took me a moment to realize he'd been speaking Spanish. All of my communications with Patty had been in English, so I have no idea why he thought I knew Spanish. My smattering of high school stuff long ago is no match for a native speaker. It was an odd start to things, but once we got it straightened out, we got to discussing the Rogue and looking at it. First he had to find the key, and then he had to find the Rogue itself. He led me to the used car area, even though I had an appointment so the dealership had already put it in their special holding area with my name on it. I would have thought he would have known that would have happened from the offset. And as the Caspian Blue color was present on only one or two other SUV style vehicles, it should have been pretty easy to spot. Still, with it found, we had a nice enough test drive. Overall I liked the vehicle well enough and we sat down to discuss the price. Here the experience went from okay enough to just annoying and extremely off-putting. As we discussed the price and I noted comparable vehicles with lower prices, including a one year older Rogue with the exact same trim and premium package and less miles. Ruben then proceeded to outright lie to me and tell me they didn't have the same features and that the 2016 wouldn't have any of the stuff I really wanted. In trying to explain why I should pay $6,000 more for the 2017 and well above its actual value, he dismissed all pricing reports from KBB, Edmunds, CarFax, and the like as "people who don't actually sell cars and wrong". He also proceeded to try to convince me that a 2016 SV without the premium package was the same as the SL with Premium package I'd mentioned, even though he'd looked it up online himself! And used that one on the lot to try to point out how inferior it was to the 2017. It was grossly insulting to my intelligence and really to the Rogue itself. Even his arguments for why the 2017 were better seemed more designed to appeal to a "silly female" than a person who'd already noted how much research she'd done, the 50+ Rogues she'd made notes on, and me as a person. For example, beyond outright saying women liked the style better, he kept focusing on how the grill was prettier, the wheels were prettier, and that by fact it was newer meant it was better. Suffice to say, I walked away feeling discouraged and dreading the rest of my car buying experience. Fortunately, I had a much better experience at the next dealership and was able to purchase a 2015 Rogue SL with similar mileage, much better price, and go figure - all the exact features I'd noted as wanting in the 2017... More

Everyone at the dealership was friendly, and each person we had contact with throughout our process was courteous and professional, but Terry made me comfortable and made me feel important. These items are important when making such a large purchase. There was nothing intimidating about the experience. It truly was the best car buying experience ever and I can only sing their praises. ...classy folks! More
