When I called to see if they could look at my vehicle, I was told I would have an estimate for the damages in 3 days. 3 weeks later, and after many calls from me, including asking to speak to the manager, was told I would have an estimate for the damages in 3 days. 3 weeks later, and after many calls from me, including asking to speak to the manager, the estimate was finally produced. The estimate said one day of work. After another 3 weeks and a few more calls from me, they called and said my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I paid the deductible, got my key and started driving home. I noticed the hood was not aligned like it should. As soon as I hit the highway I noticed a severe vibration around 65 mph and soon after, the driver side plastic trim around the wheel well fell off. 5 days after bringing the van home it rained and the van wouldn't turn over. I had it towed the my local dealer who found the engine to be hydro locked due to the misaligned hood allowing water to pour into the engine bay and a crack in the intake manifold Baldwin had missed, filled up 3 cylinders with water. After my local dealer fixed the intake manifold they diagnosed the vibration which turned out to be a dented drive shaft, not caused by the deer collision but somewhere between I hit the deer and I picked up the vehicle. Either way, these further issues should have been found and fixed by Baldwin Ford Collision but were not and I've been without a vehicle for yet another 4 weeks. More
I’ve purchased or helped someone else purchase several vehicles from Baldwin Ford Lincoln in Poplar Bluff. I enjoy working with them and if they don’t have the vehicle you want they will work hard to fin vehicles from Baldwin Ford Lincoln in Poplar Bluff. I enjoy working with them and if they don’t have the vehicle you want they will work hard to find it for you. They don’t use “high pressure” sales tactics and I appreciate that about them. I have a good relationship with several of the people who work there and it’s nice to be able to pick up the phone and call them when they have a vehicle I might be interested in. I know they’ll have it ready for me to look at when I arrive and they’ll try very hard to make it an enjoyable buying experience. No dealership can afford to give their cars away or they couldn’t stay in business. But with the folks at Baldwin, I feel like they treat me fairly and that along with good service keeps me coming back. I would highly recommend giving them the opportunity to earn your business the next time you’re in the market for a vehicle, new or used. More
Very much not pleased with the dealership. I went in to get a second key for my used truck and get the code for the door. I also had a parking sensor code. They charged me twice for diagnostic I went in to get a second key for my used truck and get the code for the door. I also had a parking sensor code. They charged me twice for diagnostics after the mechanic told me they could check those with one hook up. They said there was prior damage to the front and it would be $1000 to repair. The truck is still under warranty. I understand not fixing other issues but double charging for diagnostic. When I got home I found a loose plug that was it. A total scam. More
My experience with Baldwin has been extremely disappointing. My car was there for nearly 10 months for a recall repair, and when I finally got it back, I realized they had broken parts on it and disappointing. I took it back and it’s still sitting untouched in the same place I parked it. I’ve been patient long enough, but it’s clear they’re in no rush to fix their own mistakes. More
