I orginally went in there to look at a used Subaru that was featured online. Unfortunetly when I arrived there the vehicle was purchased the night before. We had a great experience the minute we walked through the door. They were knowledgeable and straight forward. No games. Everything was explained the way it should be. We got a great deal. The salesman, Chris Paquett salesman I dealt with, Chris Paquette.) I recently bought a used 2009 Toyota Matrix S from Balise Subaru of Warwick, RI. The salesman, Chris Paquette, did a GREAT job - he was efficient, informative, professional and friendly. When I signed all the papers with their financial guy, I was told that I would receive my new registration in the mail within a few days and had seven days to get a sticker. What happened instead is that I got a call from Chris telling me that an RMV form had been put on his desk with a note on it to have me sign the form in order to get it registered (their error). This was on the 6th day of me having the car; my insurance agent called me the following day to ask me what was going on because nobody from the dealership had contacted them re the registration; they also told me not to drive the car because if I got stopped, I'd be arrested for 'attaching plates'. You would think that the dealership, and specifically Joe Orefice, Sales Manager, would have made an effort to contact me, and at the very least, apologize for any inconvenience to me and tell me that they would get everything taken care of asap. I, initially, called him to voice my displeasure with the situation. He assured me that he would 'get to the bottom' of things and get back to me. I called him twice the following day to find out what the status of my registration was. I did not receive a call from Mr. Orefice at any time. Very unprofessional in my opinion. My car sat in my driveway, waiting for the registration, for two days. I paid $200 for the 'convenience' of having the dealership take care of the paperwork for me; that was a total waste of my money! Again, it was Chris Paquette who came to my rescue and hand-delivered the new registration at the end of the second day. As an added note, my insurance agent told me that the runner for Balise was extremely rude and actually hung up on her. What started out to be an exciting purchase for me turned out to be a miserable experience instead. Working with Chris was the ONLY part of this situation that I consider to be even remotely good. I would recommend Chris to anyone, but as for recommending Balise Subaru of Warwick - THUMBS DOWN!!! More
Was looking for a used car for the wife and stopped in to look at a Legacy. Met with Bryan and he took the wife for a test drive. I informed Bryan up front that i was not purchasing that day and no change i look at a Legacy. Met with Bryan and he took the wife for a test drive. One email from him a few days later and i replied that i would get back to him. A few days later i emailed him I went back and forth a couple of times with Bryan and the Sales Manager Randy and we closed the deal. Overall it was a fantastic no pressure experience and i think i purchased at a fair price. Thanks to the Balise Subaru team for a painless experience. Good Luck More
We used a couple of on-line quote services. Ed Carlin was one of 2 sales people to reply with actual quotes versus a letter trying to sell us about their dealership or salesman. We had narrowed our search down to two possible cars and when we drove the 2014 Forester, we were sold. Ed was informative, courteous and very helpful during the entire process. Michael Harrington worked with the bank to get us the lowest financing that we were eligible for. Before leaving the lot, Ed made sure we were knowledgable and comfortable about the operation of our new Forester. We would recommend (and already have) Balise and Ed to our friends. More
My wife and I found a used 2011 Subaru Forester online at cars.com that had the package we wanted. It was at Balise Subaru in Warwick. I contacted their Internet Team and spoke with Paul who helped us unders cars.com that had the package we wanted. It was at Balise Subaru in Warwick. I contacted their Internet Team and spoke with Paul who helped us understand all the features and also offered us an additional “Internet discount”. Great start, huh! We agreed to come to the dealership the next day. When we arrived at the dealership, Ed in sales started working with us and quickly we went out on an extended test drive. We really liked the car and then chose the accessories we wanted. Ed helped us schedule with service everything to be done that day. Next we went to Michael in Financing. Since we already had a pre approved loan, Michael worked with us to get a better interest rate from one of the dealership’s Finance companies. Sure enough, he got us a loan at a rate that was way below the rate on our pre-approved loan. Service completed the installation of the accessories we purchased and off we went in our 2011 Subaru Forester. THANK YOU everyone at Balise! bruce More

I want to comment on this dealership because I had a truly good experience with them and I feel like they deserve honest, positive feedback. My name is Andrea and I am a real person writing this review! I worked with Peter, Joe and Randy to purchase my 2006 Honda Element. I had some credit issues and 2 trades to deal with so it wasn't the easiest situation for them. These men treated me with respect, were straight forward and incredibly professional. I do my research when I buy anything, so going in to the dealership I knew what I wanted, I knew the pricing specs, the car reviews, trade-in values, loan rates, etc. Peter has an incredible knowledge about cars and their mechanics and an absolute no pressure approach that made this experience comfortable vs. the usual car-buying drama that is so often forced on consumers. Joe also is straight forward, responsive and professional. When quarried he provided me with answers about pricing that were completely in line with what my research had detailed about both the purchase car and the trade-ins. We negotiated the figures to what I needed in order to buy the car with none of the usual back and forth (let me check with the guy behind the curtain) angst. And Randy, the sales manager, is a veteran in sales and seems to be mentoring/managing his crew in a way that creates an atmosphere of excellence in customer service, respect, honest dealing and follow-through. I really needed this car. I needed a safe, reliable vehicle for my son and I. I have very limited resources and had to know that I was getting a good vehicle that I could afford and that would last me for many years. I feel that I was helped by this team in achieving my goal. I will report back on this website with an updated review in 6 months and hopefully will be able to say that the car, and any follow-up (if needed) with Balise Subaru, is actually as great as I anticipate it to be.
