This dealership is stuck in the 60's The worn out staff (aside from the excellent service dept that changes my oil), seems as if they want to scream. Obviously burnt out. They pull all the old worn out, (aside from the excellent service dept that changes my oil), seems as if they want to scream. Obviously burnt out. They pull all the old worn out, used up typical car salesman "tricks"....ie what do you want to pay a month, your taking it today right? take your keys for trade b4 you sit down. All a bunch of xx that takes hours to muddle through - then you get the "closer" who is the best liar of them all...steer clear of this "sales" team....don't want to promote anyone here, but there are much more honest dealerships you can deal with in RI. Remember a toyata is like a toaster-same car no matter where you go. The best part is I saw this website in a book on the salespersons desk!!! What the xxxx are they thinking??? More
I purchased a 2006 Scion TC on 3/15/2011. My salesman was Alex Shtutin at Balise Toyota of Warwick, 1400 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02888 – 401-781-4377. My first problem started with the clutch rod breaking. The vehicle was brought in for service and was fixed. The second problem was one of the idler pulley broke, causing my serpentine belt to break. Again the vehicle was serviced and fixed, this time the car had to be towed. I paid for the tow. Balise claimed the part wasn’t under warranty. I called Scion Corporation and started a case. My case number is 1108022171. My contact person is Shawn. His phone number is 866-707-2466 X 73410. He called the dealership and stated that the part was under warranty. The dealership claimed that I have an aftermarket supercharger. After market sugerchargers are not covered per Balise. Shawn from Scion explained that the supercharger came with the car a time of purchase. Also the supercharger is a Toyota factory TRD supercharger. It was also dealer installed prior to purchase. Shawn explained this to the dealer and they called my warranty company and found in fact it is covered. All parts were replaced free of charge. On 7/26/22, the pulley broke again and had to be fixed, same issue on 8/2/11, the car broke down again, this time it needed a new clutch and transmission. The warranty company once again covered it. They now claim I am in jeopardy of losing my warranty due to the high cost of repairs. On 8/23/111, once again the clutch is sticking and is causing a safety issue. My supercharger is also making very loud grinding noises. Also, my front bumpers are tied on with a tie strap and since this writing my car caught on fire. I would like a full refund or an equivalent car at no further cost to me. More
I have nothing but positive to say about my experience with Belise Toyota. I was greeted by my salesman Alex who was very friendly and courteous. We sat down for a short while to discuss my interest in a with Belise Toyota. I was greeted by my salesman Alex who was very friendly and courteous. We sat down for a short while to discuss my interest in a new vehicle. I was also planning to sell my currently owned car privately. We then took a car for a test drive. I was anxious prior to negotiating a purchase price. This part of purchasing was always a painful process. However, Alex made it much more pleasant. He explained as well that I could get a better deal with trading my old car in. I was given a fair quote for my trade and we came to a good price for my new purchase. I have no qualms at all with Belise and will be sure to recommend this dealership and Alex to friends and family. More
Bunch of liars, tell you what you want to hear to get your deposit then they could care less about you or your satisfation. They actually told me I was wrong in wanting the car that they promised me and your deposit then they could care less about you or your satisfation. They actually told me I was wrong in wanting the car that they promised me and had to settle for what ever they could get me. Bought from Tarbox toyota instead and they produced the exact car I wanted. They went to another dealer to find it. Which is what Balise said they were going to do. Balise said the car I wanted did not exist anywhere in the country. Stay very far away from them they are the worst people I have ever bought a new car from. Dirt bags is an under statement. More

We visited the dealership on the Labor Day Weekend - did not know for sure what car we are interested in. So, when the salesperson asked what car we want to see, my wife named three. To this the salesperso not know for sure what car we are interested in. So, when the salesperson asked what car we want to see, my wife named three. To this the salesperson replied that this is a very busy time of the week and to check out more than one-two cars would be difficult. We ended test driving only one car. The salesperson was not knowledgeable - we knew many things from online searching, and had to correct him on several occasions. My wife was interested in a Prius with a navigation system and back up camera. The salesperson assured us that even though they do not have this package, it can be easy installed, and will take only 2-3 days. This statement was later repeated by the manager. (back home I called few dealers searching for a car with the package in place, and was told by all of them that this cannot be done on a Toyota Prius II, only Toyota Prius III have this option). When the manager arrived, he was not very friendly, pressing my wife "You know what happened with the Tsunami" "If you do not act fast you might be not able to find another Prius at all", etc. He also was visibly disgusted when I asked how much below the sticker price he can offer us... The manager did not appear interested in us at all. We left very disappointed. At home I returned to the Web, called few dealers, and within one hour located a dealership with 2 cars with the package installed. The "Internet Adviser" was very knowledgeable - and offered us a $900 discount on the phone. We bought the car next day and decided to drive as far as it goes, just not to deal with Balise Toyota More

I will start by saying that my sales experience at Balise Toyota was fantastic! I enjoyed the entire buying experience and have highly recommended it's sales department to family and friends. On the othe Toyota was fantastic! I enjoyed the entire buying experience and have highly recommended it's sales department to family and friends. On the other hand, I have had multiple poor experiences with the service department at this dealership, and will no longer bring my vehicle there for service. I will start by saying that after I brought my brand new truck in for several recall notifications, drove home and washed it, I now had a gigantic crease in the roof that was not present before my service. I called the service manager Steve and discussed the matter. The end result, after a rhetorical conversation, was that the dealer denied responsibility for the damage, but fixed my truck. In addition to my damaged roof, the truck sustained a few nice scratches in the rear bumper on a different service call, I knew it was not worth fighting over considering past dealings. From my experience, both male and female service members on the phone have been extremely rude and condescending. Their high strung dispositions, especially when discussing legitimate recall inquiries, were uncalled for and are a contributing factor to my business going elsewhere! I would recommend the sales department at this deanship, but the service department will never treat your vehicle or yourself with respect. I don't expect anyone to kiss my xxx, but after spending $40K+ on a new vehicle in today's economy, I do have reasonable expectations of the service department I have confided in to service my truck!! Pro's: Willing to work with you. Great experience working with Danielle to get the greatest deal. Told them what I was looking for for a monthly payment (had a lot of negative equity on trade). She working with Danielle to get the greatest deal. Told them what I was looking for for a monthly payment (had a lot of negative equity on trade). She made it happen. Finance Mgr (can't remember name) was awesome. He was able to provide the best APR, and was able to add in GAP insurance and free oil changes for 5 years without increasing overall monthly payment/price. Cons: Julio didn't know too much about the make of car I was buying. I had to pay out of pocket after the fact for a copy of my registration since they (after promising to mail it over night so I could be state compliant) regular mailed it, and also forgot to write on envelope physical building mailing address. Was told that "everything was all set" when I talked on phone, only to find out that it was not. Had to wait on paperwork... More
