Amazing Experience - thank you, Balise. (Especially Karim!) Early in July, 2018 I made a decision to buy a new car. I did some comparison shopping online, and initially went to Tarbox Toyota in North Kingstown Early in July, 2018 I made a decision to buy a new car. I did some comparison shopping online, and initially went to Tarbox Toyota in North Kingstown for my first test drive - a decision I definitely regret! They were aggressive, and it was a very high-pressure sales situation, despite me repeating over and over that I had just started looking and was there to test drive a car and review their Finance structure. The conversation ended with me leaving in disgust at how I had been treated. Compare that to my experience at Balise Toyota of Warwick ... the staff was friendly, informative, and patient. They answered all of my questions, and were understanding when I expressed reluctance at making a decision right away. The car I had initially come to see had been sold the day prior, and the sales staff was more than accommodating when it came time to discuss pricing and finance terms. At no point did I feel pressured. The sales person, Karim Mohamed was AMAZING - he was as helpful as he could be, and worked very hard to make sure I found a car I liked and was within my price range. He continued to support me throughout the entire purchase process, insurance cutover, and the trade-in of my previous car. Karim even made sure that my "Red Sox" license plate frame made it off my old car and onto my new car. :) For the first time in my life, I felt comfortable enough in a sales environment to speak up for myself. I challenged the initial value of my trade-in, I negotiated the price of the car, and I negotiated for the set of add-on protections to ensure the car was protected without going out of my budget price range. It was an awesome experience for me. I can't recommend Balise Toyota of Warwick enough - they will have my business for every car I purchase in the future! More
