Barker was the way to go !! Long story short. The Internet mgr (Kris)was able to get me the deal I was comfortable with. More importantly he pointed out some possible errors of o Long story short. Best Car Buying Experience Ever! I was under a lot of stress at the time, two jobs, son graduating, son in a car accident that totaled his car (he was ok thanks goodness). I found myself unexpectedly looking for a new vehicle. I prepared a budget to see what I could spend each month and started my research on makes and models which took me the whole weekend. The following Monday I took the day off and went to visit the 3 dealerships on my list. I visited Barker Mazda first and spoke to Kris Morales, who I had chatted with online that weekend and made an appointment with. When I arrived I was greeted at the door with a smiling face, Tommy. He immediately asked if I needed help and I let him know I was there to meet with Kris. I immediately felt very comfortable with Kris. He asked me what my main objective in purchasing a new car was. I explained to him my situation and the reason I was in the market for a new car. I gave him list of needs and wants. He was very knowledgeable about the Mazda brand and the Mazda6 which I was interested in. I liked his sales approach, very laid back and NOT pushy. I never felt pressured at anytime. I left there and went visit two other dealerships but I did not have the same experience as with Kris at Mazda. The other models and dealerships did not compare to Barker Mazda. I went home after visiting all three of my choices and returned to Barker to visit with Kris that afternoon. He made me an offer I could not refuse...lol...and he and James Relan, the business and finance manager, went to bat for me with the banks to get me the best deal possible. James was very nice and answered all of my many questions about the financing and extras. They both made sure I was comfortable with my vehicle and my financing before I left, even though it was after hours. Kris, James and Barker Mazda have earned a lifetime customer! Thanks again guys! The CX 5 was the first vehicle in its class they showed me and I was nearly sold from the get go. After looking at others in the same class, I knew the CX 5 was by far the best deal for me.
